tomloge
Saw Travers live once. Great show. He only played for 25 minutes, but there were 4 bands on the bill and he was the opener. Incredible amount of energy in his set.

tomloge
I think he covered "How Many More Times" on PT-Power Trio 2 and did a great job on that one.

tomloge
I saw Travers live last Friday, 6/13. He opened for Molly Hatchet and basically blew them off the stage. If I can remember the songs he did: Rock & Roll Susie Black Betty a cover of an old Ray Charles song-slow, heavy blues Red House (slide guitar) Snortin' Whisky Boom Boom Can Do Diamond Girl Crash & Burn There's probably a few more that I left out. But the man still has it! On guitar, and on vocals!

The Pagemeister
PAT TRAVERS New Album The album is called simply "Swing!" and it features full band rock arrangements of Louis Prima's "Sing Sing Sing", Duke Elington's "Take The 'A' Train", Glenn Miller's "In The Mood" and many more. The result is an incredible listening experience of familiar tunes played like you've never heard them before.

Stryder1978
Great info! I first saw Pat Travers when they opened up for Foghat in Sioux City, Iowa back in 1979. My first time seeing Tommy Aldridge drum as well..what a beast!
