Jarlaxle 56
Why do they have two bassists? I think they play different parts in the music, And it probably makes everything more layered when they play live.
irg82
That's awesome! Reminds me of Spinal Tap. I'll have to listen to some of their stuff.
Muse
Why do they have two bassists? Because they can. Every section's the right section for a bit o' Godspeed! I don't like everything they've done, but I think the Slow Riot For New Zero Kanada EP is their best work. Give it up for Blaise Bailey Finnegan III!! I really need to get around to checking out their offshoot band, A Silver Mt. Zion. I hear they're even better.
BigBadZep
I don't like everything they've done, but I think the Slow Riot For New Zero Kanada EP is their best work. Give it up for Blaise Bailey Finnegan III!! BBF3 is heaven. The climax is held longer than in most of their other songs so it's like OMG. I still think Lift Your Skinny Fists is better though. I really need to get around to checking out their offshoot band, A Silver Mt. Zion. I hear they're even better. I wouldn't say that. Though they are excellent in their own right. They're a lot more subdued, without the huge climaxes.

Hermit
Sig worthy for sure You're right, Del. It is sig worthy. A wiseguy once said.. "I guess this newer generation doesn't get the Lenny Bruce's or the George Carlin types. They need everything spelled out with hugs and kisses all the time. " Well said, doncha think? Seems particularly relevant with regard to the banishment of Old Scratch, don't it?

What a shame when ROCK & ROLL doesn't have a place for hard drinking woman chasing irreverent poets. Hey, hey, mama, said the way you move, Gonna make you sweat, gonna make you groove. Ah, ah, child, way you shake that thing, Gonna make you burn, gonna make you sting. Hey, hey, baby, when you walk that way, Watch your honey drip, can't keep away. Hermit
Sounds like something my old friend DanCorleone would have said. He ended up sleeping with the fishes too. Come to think of it,.. it might have been wiseguy DanCorleone who said it! Yeah, it is a shame that a creative, intelligent, thought-provoking, envelope-pushing, sometimes crass and vulgar poet would get banned from a rock n roll web forum. Go figure. "The killer awoke before dawn He put his boots on He took a face from the ancient gallery And he walked on down the hall He went into the room where his sister lived And then he.. Paid a visit to his brother And then he.. walked on down the hall And he came to a door And he looked inside Father? Yes son I want to kill you Mother, I want to...." To rock n roll poets!
