I like the track "Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast" from their Atom Heart Mother album...funny, unique and trippy!

I finally decided to jump on the Twilight bandwagon to see what all the hype was about. I bought the book a few weeks ago and now I'm already finished! I've also since seen the movie and want to read the next book. Yeah, I'm turning into one of those crazy fans.

I've thought about it myself. Like you, I started wearing glasses at the same age. My contacts prescription is -6.00. I would love to be able to get up in the morning without having to reach for my glasses and all those other hassles you mentioned. Don't really have money for LASIK though.

I got another... I was watching the movie Religulous last night and there was a scene where Bill Maher interviews someone who talks about the Koran. His cell phone rings in the middle of the interview; the ringtone was "Kashmir."

Lucky! My vision started deteriorating when I was 11 and wasn't able to see the chalkboard very well. Wore glasses for 3 years, then switched to contacts. At first I had a hell of a time putting them in but now that I've worn them for almost 12 years, it's like second nature. You eventually get used to it.

Rainy and windy. This morning the temperature was in the late 40s, by noon it was in the mid 60s, and tonight it'll be down to the 40s again. Blah. No wonder I had a headache today.

I just finished reading Jacqueline Susann's Valley of the Dolls . It got me so hooked that I finished it in just a few days, and it was almost 450 pages long! Now I'm reading The Land of Green Plums by Herta Muller, about a group of university friends living in a Communist world. It's not an easy read, but its poetic flow of words and emotional storyline make the book very powerful.

Cat's Cradle is my favorite venue...it's had some great bands.

I love The White Stripes. My favorite White Stripes albums are their self-titled album, De Stijl, and Elephant. I think they, along with the Black Keys, are the best groups of this generation.

In the law library I work at, there's a set of books called Page on Wills, and on the shelf right below it, Jones on Evidence.

I've actually never seen this, but there used to be a restaurant over here called Black Dog Cafe. Also, I was shopping for t-shirts online and one of them described the size as "Large: Not too tight, not too loose"
