  1. That has to be a first this late in the season, where a team is in play for both a division crown and a #1 draft pick. Why doesn't Dallas start somebody else besides that useless Matt Cassel? You already know what you're getting with Cassel. Why not play the younger guys so you can see if they have any QB potential and then you'll know what you need come draft-time and the free-agency market?
  2. Sorry Walter...gotta go with the Jets. Why doesn't Dallas start somebody else besides that useless Matt Cassel? You already know what you're getting with Cassel. Why not play the younger guys so you can see if they have any QB potential and then you'll know what you need come draft-time and the free-agency market?
  3. Seek a psychiatrist. I suggest Scarlet Macaw.
  4. Here is the shirt they were selling at the theatre last night. The hoodies had the Galaxy Opening as well as all the Star Wars films and their respective opening dates listed on the back.
  5. No. Nothing yet. But from what I have heard from third party sources, he may be away for a bit.
  6. Or maybe Lando lost him in a bet?
  7. But Finn was a slave who was indoctrinated into the Stormtroopers. How would Lando's kid become a slave?
  8. Beats being Jar Jar Binks' kids.
  9. Sweet. But it's when he took his helmet off that I said to myself "Hey! It's Big Klu!" Hey Res and Reggie, are you thinking the same thing I am regarding Rey's parentage?
  10. I was sitting next to three girls who were GEEKING out the entire movie...nearly every scene was greeted with squeals and gasps and they would hug each other. I bet those seats were soaking wet by the end of the film. The thing was that they gave no outward clue that they were hardcore Star Wars nerds. They weren't dressed as Yoda or Princess Keia or anything.
  11. Did either of you get the special Opening Day Star Wars merch they were selling at the theatres? Hoodies, shirts, hats, keychains, posters, ticketholders...a flood of Star Wars shit. By the time we got to the theatre last night they were sold out of everything except hoodies and hats.
  12. I can say this much without giving away spoilers...the casting for this Star Wars film is sooooo much better than the prequels. Not just having the old gang of Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Chewbacca, etc. back....but all the new faces, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Daisy Ridney, John Boyega, Max von Sydow, Domhnall Gleeson, are a vast improvement over the annoying plastic kiddy characters in the prequels...Hayden Pattycake, Natalie Porcelain, that horrible blonde tyke from the first prequel, Jar Jar Binks. Even good actors like Samuel L. Jackson, Ewan McGregor, and Liam Neeson were ill-used in those prequels...a waste of talent. And Adam Driver as Kylo Ren is a far superior villain than Darth Maul. Something else about Kylo Ren struck me...he looks a little like Forum member Big Klu!
  13. Spending the morning at the post office packing and sending off Christmas presents and cards. Then I am off to see the Seinfeld Apartment... http://www.latimes.com/entertainment/tv/showtracker/la-et-st-hulu-seinfeld-the-apartment-pop-up-installation-west-hollywood-20151216-story.html Then another viewing of the new "Star Wars"...this time with the little nephew and family. He has been so stoked for this...almost as much as he was for Van Halen.
  14. Yeah, judging from the previous popsicle stick uniforms on Thursday night games, I can imagine it looked pretty hideous. Imagine if they used the old Tampa Bay orange colour!
  15. I don't know...I didn't watch the game. Went straight from work to a show and then a late supper and then a 1am screening of the new Star Wars. It's 3:45 in the morning and I am heading home.
  16. Just coming out of the 1:00am screening I attended in Hollywood. No 3D for me...I prefer to see it the way I saw it in 1977. Immensely better than any of the prequels. I rate it a 7.5 out of 10. There was a small section I missed because I dozed off briefly. Won't say anymore for now so as not to give away any spoilers. Except to say Rey is badass. Costume displays in the Lobby. All Star Wars all the time.
  17. Hard to tell with his hand covering half his face and hat covering his hairline. It would be nice for it to be true but I remain skeptical at the present.
  18. You forgot the 1999 NFC Championship Game...St. Louis Rams - 11 Tampa Bay Bucs - 6.
  19. Ja, ich bin für Deutschland!⚽ But I will also throw a little love to Ireland and Iceland, my ancestral roots.
  20. ^^^Thanks, res, for getting it. Insult? Grudge? I don't even know you...why would I be carrying a grudge? I merely was answering a question in a joking fashion. I don't keep a scorecard on the people I interact with here, so I have no recollection of our dialogue and its duration. But I assure you, whatever animosity you perceive is entirely in your mind.
  21. It's not rocket science...it follows "Return of the Jedi" in Star Wars chronology.
  22. Luckily for Mark Hamill's and Harrison Ford's career those early concepts were changed.
  23. Here is some Christmas music that never gets tired...A little jazz, a little New Orleans blues, and the new Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings Christmas/Chanukah album...topped by the glory of Darlene Love and the Phil Spector Christmas album.
