  2. 15 weeks in and we are finally getting our shit together, gang! We just scored our BEST WEEK EVER!!! Everyone finished with double-digit wins. Sound the trumpets and ring the bells...for Reggie29 from Oz just won his first week! Give the man a star! He does has to share it with in_the_evening. Reggie and i_t_e also deserve kudos for tying for the best score of the season: 14-2! The Saints losing cost paul, jb, jabe, Walter and Mrs. Walter the win. Only two weeks left...can someone score that elusive 16-0 perfect week? Will it be a two-horse race between Andy and jb? Or can someone else finish strong down the stretch...Bong-Man, ebk, paul, or Walter? What a finish it promises to be... 3. The Saints screwed the pooch...
  4. Now what did Paul ever do to you to deserve confusing him with me?
  5. Now we have a game...28-20! Leave it to the Lions to fritter away a commanding lead.
  6. Hahaha...classic, Kiwi. It makes me happy to hear the postal system still works in certain parts of the world. The feeling is mutual, CP.
  7. SPOILER ALERT! Cool fact: The Storm-Trooper that Rey does the Jedi Mind-Trick on was played by Daniel Craig, 007. Probably will see it a third time tonight...this time in IMAX.
  8. I didn't? I will try to rectify that soon...will have to track down my photos from the show. Very sneaky clever of you...hope the ring arrives in time. For you "Seinfeld" fans, here are some photos I took at the Seinfeld Apartment set installation. The line was longer than the Star Wars line...5 hours to get in from the time I arrived at 10am. But it was worth it...especially for the Seinfeld geeks that most of us in line were. Yesterday was the last day. It has been in NY and LA...where it goes next I have no idea. The line started here and wound east down Melrose Ave. Then it snaked around west down the back alley towards La Cienega. North up La Cienega for a bit. And finally east down Melrose Place to make a complete 'S'. This is the point of the line where I arrived.
  9. I will file that with your Buffalo Bills prediction. Or...as Paul Le Mat tells MacKenzie Phillips in "American Graffiti", 'file that under CS'.
  10. Rick, where is this supposed L.A. team going to play? There is NO NFL stadium in L.A. - don't even think about the Coliseum or the Rose Bowl. Those two options are off-the-table...it's a non-starter. None of the other stadium proposals (next to Dodger Stadium, next to Staples Center, Hollywood Park, Irwindale, Carson) have neither the political nor financial capital to be ready in time for the 2016 season. I keep telling you the NFL just uses L.A. as a threat to other cities to extort more money from city coffers to the NFL and their greedy owners. Fox and CBS and other broadcasters are just feeding people the NFL's propaganda.
  11. That's a shame your experience was ruined, Patrycja. Fortunately, the theatres I attend in L.A. have a very strict cellphone policy...and they enforce it. So who here has seen it more than once already?
  12. People need to stop with this bullshit! Puhhllease...enough with this fantasy of these teams going to Los Angeles. Especially with 2016 being an election year. No politician in St. Louis or San Diego is going to allow their football team to leave...they would never get reelected. And we don't want any of these jokers playing in L.A. Not the Rams. Not the Chargers. Not the Raiders. Not the Vikings. And certainly not the Jaguars.
  13. Red, I hope they nail this guy's balls to the wall...and let you wield the hammer! In the meantime, maybe Santa Claus will hear your plea and surprise you with a gift.
  14. I'm betting on it, paul...I took the Giants plus 5 points.
  15. They flexed the schedule and instead of Bungles @ 49ers being the Sunday night game, it is Cardinals @ Eagles. Which surprises me...with an undefeated team and the New York market in play, I would have thought NBC would want Andy's Panthers @ Giants for tonight.
  16. Minnehaha Jacksonville, England Houston, we have a problem Arizona Giants New England Washington Kansas City Seattle Green Bay Pittsburgh San Diego Cincinnati New Orleans
  17. For he's a jolly good fellow...which nobody can deny! Happy birthday Samwise! Rock hard on your Celebration Day!!!
  18. Yummy chocolate-peanut butter Christmas treats from a dear friend. Thanks E!
  19. Sounds like a delicious Christmas dinner...with a little Chanukah flavour added. I love latkes! Sometimes wish I was Jewish...not for the jokes, but for the food. Bonus points Dd for having your Christmas dinner early. Now you can relax on Christmas and not have to worry about cooking and cleaning up the dishes.
