  1. $#&£!@#!₩€§¿Ωθ{#&@$!!!
  2. Taters up 44-14! It's chaos out there!
  3. Does anyone know when the last time Detroit actually held a lead in Lambeau Field? It has to be eons. There should be a moratorium from showing Rob Ryan's stupid mug on TV.
  4. What the hell is going on in the Lions@Packers game? How is it only 3-3?
  5. 16-3 now. Oh well...maybe you can watch the Dallas-Tampa Bay game?
  6. I am off the primate bandwagon and picked Philly this week. So naturally the Eagles will lay an egg.
  7. Move out of the sticks, man. ?? Hey Ddladner! I just tried some of those belVita bars you and Sath were discussing a while back. I had the mixed berry belVita Bites. Sorry to say, I wasn't impressed...the overwhelming flavour was a mouthful of flour. Dry and not very much berry flavour. Fortunately I had some yogurt on hand and was able to dip the bar in the yogurt. I don't think I will try belVita again. I'd rather just have a bowl of oatmeal or grits with fresh blueberries or strawberries.
  8. ^^^Cool Walter! The more the merrier! I thought more people would pick Arizona...it seems we're not ready to jump on the Cardinals bandwagon just yet.
  9. Great...no doubt about it. But Jim Brown is still best ever, in my opinion. Yukon struck gold!
  10. Victory steak and Grgich Hills 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon.
  11. KINGS WIN! KINGS WIN! A nice fast-paced 4-3 thriller with Nick Shore scoring the game-winner with 1:39 left. Tanner Pearson and Gaborik also had nice games. Not bad for my first game of the season and a much needed respite from the news about Paris. After a dreadful opening week of the season the Kings are sitting on top of the Pacific division. I love looking at the retired #s of Dionne and Vachon. A group of unhappy Edmonton fans...
  12. I am at the Kings vs. Oilers game tonight. It's Eric Cartman bobblehead night! Respect my authoritaaaay! Too bad Edmonton's McSavior is injured and out for the game...was hoping to get a first-hand look at the kid. GO KINGS GO! But first...a Moment of Silence for Paris... I forget the name of the girl who sang "Oh Canada!" and "Star-Spangled Banner" but she knocked them out of the park! Best renditions I have heard in a long time. The Kings scored just over a minute into the game...Gaborik. Tanner Pearson added another goal shortly before the end of the period. After one period, Kings up 2-0.
  13. Get your eyes fixed...I clearly said "alternatives".
  14. Hooray for your Bills finally winning two-in-a-row and all that, but those choking dog Jets blew that game. Of course the man holding the smoking gun was that lame-ass retardo Chan Gailey...of whom I bet Cowboy fan Walter can share many horror stories similar to the Jets blundering play-calling in their last two drives to the red-zone down the stretch in the 4th quarter last night. Fucking god-awful play sequences. The Bills will gladly take the Jets gift and probably breathed a sigh of relief all the way back on their flight to Buffalo. Rick, did you put hard coin on the game? At least now we can put to rest any talk that the New York Jets are the second-best team in the AFC.
  15. If there's no Izzy and Duff, count me out. About 20 years too late anyway.
  16. Buf...no, I just can't trust the Bills on the road. NY Jesters tonight.
  17. More treasures from the vault! Thank You Bob Dylan! It's All-Bob All-Day as I enjoy this early Christmas present...6 discs of the 1965-66 sessions for "Bringing It All Back Home", "Highway 61 Revisited", and "Blonde on Blonde"! Dylan's high-peak of the '60s. This includes all the takes for "Like a Rolling Stone"...
  18. ^^^Never sat near the soundboards, though...at least not for Zeppelin. But yeah, they were employees of Showco, after all. Their first priority was their job...to work the lights and sound for the concert. Manning the soundboard tape-deck was probably left to whomever wasn't busy at the time, which at a concert as big and chaotic as a Led Zeppelin show probably didn't leave many candidates. There are always problems with lights and sound popping up at a concert. The PA isn't working, there's a glitch with one of the amps or the singer's mic or guitar player's rig. It is busy all the time for those guys. Be thankful for what we've got...it's a miracle they were able to tape as much of the shows as they did. So what if there's a few minor gaps here and there.
  19. Remembering Allen Toussaint with my favourite Allen Toussaint compilation and a great New Orleans Funk comp. Happy 60th birthday to Dave Alvin...erstwhile Blaster.
  20. Yeah, they've already sold out THREE nights at the Hollywood Bowl. But I'll still be there...just as I would never miss a Led Zeppelin tour, I never miss a Cure concert.
