Robert Plant @ APRS Annual Sound Fellowships (2015), London
Strider replied to sam_webmaster's topic in News
In my bleary-eyed state I first thought this said AARP. Whoops. -
John Paul Jones in the Arctic Circle in Norway? What's the big deal? Jones is in Norway so often playing with Supersilent, I'm surprised he doesn't have dual-citizenship. I am kidding, of course. Always happy to see him playing somewhere...with a bass or mandolin or whatever is handy in his capable hands. Thanks to Janvier, Sam, Patrycja, and Pagemeister for providing the treats.

That's cold, Steve.

Good one, jimmie ray. Considering the congregation gets together on Sundays, you could almost call the NFL a religion, too.

Ummm, yeah, I don't know if you've noticed but Bong-Man has picked against his Lions just about every week.

Ahhhh, but my post about Peyton wasn't directed towards you. I was merely answering Paul's post about Peyton's game and you acted like someone stole your baby.

Lucky sod. You have 1971 ranked last? I would have loved to have seen 1970 of course, but 1971 is the one I really covet. Fresh songs from IV, choice material from III, including totally gonzo "Celebration Day" on the 12-string. Every boot I listen to from 1971 sounds like a killer show, topped by Orlando, Berkeley, Toronto, and the Japanese tour. My rank of the tours I saw: 1. 1972 2. 1977 3. 1973 4. 1975

:D The black and white contrast is very evocative. Much better than the usual selfie.

Welcome back planted! Missed ya'. Great shot...taken by the spawn?

Okay, let me rephrase that...if Dave Mathews and Justin Bieber can have a career, why not Samo?
-
If Miley Cyrus and Nikki Minaj can have a music career, why not Samo?

^^^Nice...just don't put a gun in his hands. I feel sorry for anyone named 'Chicken' so I support this thread. Just started this book after finally muddling my way thru "Saving Capitalism".

This Raider fan sends his positive vibes and well-wishes for Gina and her family. Peace.

And then the Pelicans turn around and beat a team like the Spurs. Nuts. I keep telling you about the Clippers, but no..plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose.

Interesting, you use a Pinot and not a Burgundy?

I don't think the second-half of the evening show of September 19, 1970 drags at all. They raised the roof at Madison Square Garden that night from beginning to end.

New Soundboard - March 3, 1975 Fort Worth

KUDOS on a job well done! ledzepfilm, you've done it again! You do great service to the Zeppelin community...and so speedy, too. -
The OP's probably thinking of 1972. But whether it's 1971, '72, or '73, there are no "Lost L.A." dates. Both August 21 and 22 1971 LA Forum dates were advertised and sold in advance. There was no mystery as to when or where Led Zeppelin were playing. The same thing in 1972...all three dates at the Swing Auditorium, LA Forum, and Long Beach Arena were announced, advertised and sold in advance. There was no last-minute additional show. In 1973, the Forum shows were originally May 30 and May 31. Jimmy's hand injury after the San Diego show necessitated moving the May 30 Forum date to June 3, after the San Francisco Kezar Stadium show. The May 31 Forum show went on as originally scheduled.
