  1. 5 for 20 with 4 interceptions for a QBR of 0.0 Yes, it was dreadful. He needs to step back and rest. This season is definitely the end for Peyton. But the Green Bay game showed what he can do with a week's rest, so the Denver game isn't a gimme for New England. Not yet, at least. Now, if Peyton sits out that game, then yes, the Patriots will win.
  2. Put the Bengals on in Prime Time and they turn into the Bungholes. And look what the NFL is serving up Thursday night: Tennessee at Jacksonville! Puke. I think New England could run the table if that was their main objective. But with these injuries, I think their priority is making sure they are primed for a Super Bowl run, not finishing 16-0 in the regular season. Looking at the schedules, I could see both Carolina and New England losing in Week 12...Carolina at Dallas and New England at Denver.

  4. Week 2 was bad but at least the winner that week, Anjin-san, was at .500 for the week, finishing at 8-8. For Week 10, everyone was below .500. ebk was the winner at 6-8. Our collective winning percentage for week 10 was a dismal 30.5%...for week 2 it was 38.8%. No sense dwelling on the bad...let's wrap it up and move forward. Oh, and sorry for the delay...personal life and all that. 5. A family from Ohio came in today. I noticed they were wearing Bengals gear so I wished them luck in tonight's game and told them about a great place to watch the game in L.A. with other Bengals fans. The dad asks me if I want to hear a joke. Sure, I said. Here's what he said... There are three "cats" teams in the NFL that are undefeated. The Bengals, the Panthers, and the Cheatahs.
  6. Happy birthday to one Sara Lelling. I have no idea who she is or if she still visits...I don't recall seeing any of her posts. What caught my eye is that she turns 17 today and it says she joined the Forum back in 2011...so she would have been around 13 years old. Which has to make her one of the youngest members of the Forum. I wonder if she still likes Led Zeppelin? What made her a fan in the first place? What drew her in? Anyway, whoever Sara is I hope she's having a grand day. Thank you Sara for helping to skew the average age of the Forum downward.
  7. Good on ya', mate! I've gone in a less rockin' mode this Monday...just loaded up the CD carousel at work.
  8. Oh, the humanity! For those with a weak constitution I advise you to look away...there's a lot of blood...our WORST WEEK EVER!
  9. After yesterday's debacle against the Taters, this should come as no surprise...Buh-bye Rob Ryan!!! http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/11/16/report-saints-firing-rob-ryan/
  10. We are happy to have you.
  11. You're nuts. If you really think that why would you bet on the NFL? Or any sport period?
  12. Listen to thes bozos for 5 seconds and your brain self-destructs. They totally rip off Duran Duran, too...it's a carbon copy of "Hungry Like the Wolf". Only without the élan of Duran Duran.
  13. Charles, you should head up our interrogation units. Train, Maroon 5, 5 Seconds of Summer...torture the terrorists with this and you'd have them talking in less than an hour. Oh, and Duran Duran should sue.
  14. If only a tornado could roll thru and wipe out both teams.
  15. That Detroit Green Bay ending was comical. It was as if each team was trying to give the other team the win. Here, you take the game...no, you take it, I insist... A botched 2-point attempt looks like Detroit is safe. But then they botch the onside kick and give Green Bay life. But then Green Bay's kicker chokes and Detroit wins after all. In all the chaos I lost track of the Dolphins-Eagles game. Ahhh...I see Bradford threw a pick in the endzone to doom Philadelphia. See Paul...told you Philly would lay an egg after I picked them.
  16. Yeah, it's been cheerleader-free lately.
  17. This Green Bay game is taking forever to end.
  18. I have the feeling there's going to be a lot of red on everybody's pick sheets today.
  19. Yes, that part I agree with. Walter, refs or not, Dallas should still be able to score more than 6 points!
  20. Was just texting that to my brother the Cowboy lover. Romo is getting old, though...time to prepare for the future.
  21. And as soon as I post that Detroit gouges Green Bay on a huge play to put themselves in scoring position.
  22. Green Bay eking back into the game...and it was 1991 the last time Detroit had a lead against the Packers in Lambeau Field.
