  1. I thin Crisis, What Crisis? is their best album followed by Live in Paris, but I don't think they sound like the Beatles.
  2. I agree, groups like Hollies, Kinks, Early Stones, Beatles, Billy J Kramer, Early Fleetwood Mac, Yes, Barclay James Harvest, Led Zep, Floyd, Mothers Of Invention, Joni Mitchell and many, many others that the youth of today have not experienced, My two daughters like most of my stuff, unfortunately except Led Zep. My youngest (aged 13) knows nearly all the words to the Beatles and she loves them. Pity I cannot reciprocate, I find the music these days mind blowing, it seems to be going back to the 80s, all synthesisers and all that shit, so once again Bring back the 60s and the 70s.

  9. Walter I was trying to point out that they are both have clearly gone fishing to coin a phrase, apparently Gibson has madse another film due for release, I take it he paid for it himself.
  10. .......Sorry I've just remembered; thanks to Crowded House for Not The Girl You Think You Are.
  11. I also know nothing about these terms, I know I was born in March and that's it, I've no idea what Sun, Ascending or Moon has to do with a persons date of birth.
  12. I recently bought(on cd unusual for me) A Peter Gabriel sort of best of collection, but the record label released the most recent version of- Here Comes The Flood, and not the original that was the only track that I was disappointed with. Back to the thread, Peters voice was much more powerful than Phils, and as you metioned his theatrics, and the costumes he wore in their live acts during the early days, with hardly any money to spend, gave Genesis the start of their huge following of fans. Especially live
  13. Not just today but most days - the amount of people who spell definitely wrong, and it's such a simple word
  14. Paul Young - Sodiers Things.... I bet Tom Waits wanted to punch him when he heard that.
  15. Can anybody find me somebody to love - Queen
  16. I know I'm no oil painting, but have you any recent photographs of these two?? For the younger females to look at as they probably have never seen them.
  17. Thanks Strider, do you think that (from under that shroud of anonymity), you could give me their address, as you are obviously aware of their website: are they helping you with your use of English, "snarkyness is a new one on me.........There you go just what you wanted ! a bit of sarcasm, an opinion and a bit of criticism
