  1. LOL! That's quite alright Reggie! I actually found it amusing to be honest! And I second what Magic said! That was a really nice sentiment! Cheers!
  2. Love Is Strong - The Rolling Stones
  3. Just stating something very obvious there buddy! And woah! LOL! Really? Talk about a giant forum malfunction!
  4. Thanks for your advice Chowder. Basically what I want to do is for starters check out the 1st three albums by Sabbath because judging by what the guys said, they seem to be the most promising. Then I'll go in for that compilation suggested by Jahfin and then take it from there! And for the record, Swede's music tastes are really awesome! Thanks to him, I've got into a variety of bands which are absolutely amazing!
  5. Why The Corrs? Why not something by Zep or Hendrix or other awesome stuff?! And I truly wish I was doing a degree in Classic Rock and not Economics! LOL! But my parents will kill me!
  6. :hysterical: Oh dear god, Magic! I didn't notice that rather "shocking" error in Reggie's post till now! Woah! So funny! LOL!
  7. Yeah...there is even a book on Zeppelin press releases! I wonder whether one of the librarians is a fan? In fact, I could have sworn that the lady who issued the Mick Wall book for me gave me a small smile as if she understood that I was a Zep Head! LOL! not sure! And since the University of Otago has its catalogue on line, I checked (yeah! I'm crazy! ) and they don't stock "When Giants Walked The Earth"...there are other Zeppelin books there of course, but UoA tops in this regard! And the weird part is that the Music Library looks rather old, small and dusty but what a lot of cool books they stock! Appearances can be so deceptive! Its my favourite place to be in the City Campus at the moment! I think you know why! There is (I'm sure you know this), a listening room for CDs and stuff and yep! They do have "Led Zep IV" and "Physical Graffiti". I am just so tempted to skip class one day and go to the Music Library and just kick back, relax and listen! LOL! I am so evil! And thank you so much for your awesome gesture! You rock man! Thank you! I might consider it!
  8. Well, since you're being so nice about it, all I can say is "Thank You" Have a Good Weekend Reggie! And ummm sorry about over reacting that way man! Been on edge lately because of late night studying and mid-terms! Oh well! P.S I've started reading it and I'm loving it so far!
  9. Another beauty by Radio Moscow! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VOhEmz3q5cw If you love Hendrix and Cream, you'll love this!
  10. Even though I can't understand a word of Spanish, that was so funny! So, you can pretty much imagine how I would feel about the english version! LOL! And That crazy orange and blue superman like costume which that bloke was wearing was so whacky!
  11. AHHHH!!! That was too funny! I loved the cartoon video too of the dancing chicken with yellow feathers! And there is actually a song with this really silly line: "I'm a bow-legged chicken, I'm a naughty hen!".
  12. OMG! zdr, you've done it again! :hysterical: All I can say is what the hell was Mick wearing?!
  13. Jahfin, the lyrics were hilarious! Gosh! That was just priceless and the "Hillbilly" sort of tune made it even funnier! Thanks!
  14. Sabbath really reminds a bit of Deep Purple to be honest...only thing is that Sabbath is more"moody" and "in your face" with heavier guitar riffs! Cool!
  15. Thanks for the tip Jahfin! Much appreciated! I guess that collection will give me a pretty deep overview of what Sabbath was all about! So yep! I think after checking out the first three albums, I think I'll check this collection out too! Thanks again Jahfin! I bet I am in for a treat!
  16. Wow! Those lyrics sound absolutely evil in a very creative way! Thanks for the advice bigzepfan! And gloom with a bit of psychedelia you say? Well, that sounds like my kind of music indeed! I am for starters going to check out their first 3 albums and then take it from there!
  17. Swede, as far as music tastes are concerned, to be very very honest, I consider yours to be one of the best around here, so I'm going to start with their first 3 albums and I have heard a few tracks from these albums coming to think of it via the "rate the song above you" thread so yep! This is indeed a pretty cool place to start!
  18. OK, Don't laugh...but I honestly don't know anything about Black Sabbath! I previewed some of their songs on NZ Itunes about 2 days ago and I love what I hear! But I am confused...my dad ain't much of a fan and my mom well, she doesn't like heavy music so I don't know anything about them! Where the hell do I start? What album should I listen to first? Any suggestions will be much appreciated! I need help guys! I just don't want to be one of those idiots who just buys the greatest hits and thinks she knows everything there is to know about Sabbath!
  19. Magic, your post really made me smile! Thank you so much! You are a such sweetheart! And yeah, I guess the University of Auckland is pretty cool in these aspects! But why doesn't your Uni stock Zep books in the library? That's such a shame! And no other university library in NZ has "When Giants Walked The Earth"...I've done my research And yep! I've started reading! And I'm enjoying it so far! 450 pages of awesome stuff! My weekend is going to be such fun! Thanks Magic!
  20. I recommend Radio Moscow for sure!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pFhoEA6w5MQ&p=9F98DB9C46F6DA7E&playnext=1&index=18 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LUlw2PJfAoA&feature=rec-LGOUT-real_rev-rn-1r-1-HM http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6EeSEuFVEXs&feature=related
  21. Look, I was really excited on finding that fuckin book in the University library today and you think that's wrong and I don't know why! I'm sorry if my sharing those pics seem silly to you! For you, it might be just some silly book, but to me, its something special! And you pretty much hurt my feelings with that post of yours but anyway I won't take it any further. P.S Bravo for your beautiful sarcasm there mate! How very intelligent!
