  1. You Can't Always Get What You Want - The Rolling Stones
  2. Holy Cow!!!!!!!!!!! :hysterical: My mom's in the next room trying to get some sleep. I nearly woke her up when I literally collapsed laughing!!!! Rock on weird beer obsessed man! Thanks page!!!
  3. Woah...I hate rap....its crap with a C but that was hilarious because it was so lame! Chances are that some buggers might use this song as a pick-up line to get women! Sheesh!
  4. Wow! I was wondering where this thread ran off to! LOL! Thanks for the bump Page!! Much appreciated! Will be checking out the stuff you posted pretty soon! Another song which really makes me giggle because of the lyrics! Sometimes I truly believe that "Abbey Road" is a hilarious sort of album! LOL!
  5. Its Only Rock 'n' Roll - The Rolling Stones
  6. Well, its this one now for the past 10 hours so far and I absolutely love it! The guitar riffs are fuckin awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Even if I told my mom a 1000 times how much I love her, it still wouldn't be enough because she got me this today : I've been searching for this album for 5 goddamn years and my mom (the angel) found it and bought it for me today (eventhough, she can't stand Hendrix!) :yay: Gotta love them CD booklets! All images courtesy of my Samsung Corby. My digi cam is out of action at the moment And this is the first couple of "personal pics" I have posted on this very forum!
  8. A Kick Ass Album by "The Hellacopters" This is my first purchase from "The Hellacopters" catalogue!!!! So worth the NZ $11! This album left me screaming and wanting more!!!!! It just rocks your socks off from start to finish!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Those are truly fantastic purchases there! "Abbey Road" is a gem (my favourite songs are "You Never Give Me Your Money", "Come Together", "Because" and "Oh Darling" and after "The Dark Side of The Moon", "Obscured By Clouds" is my second favourite album by Pink Floyd of all time! All I can say is "Congratulations and enjoy".
  10. I really love The Rolling Stones but this song is a bit mean but it is rather funny in my opinion!
  11. The song "Lost In Confusion" by Graveyard was stuck in my head for 17 days!

I live in the CBD (on Cook Street), pretty close to the City Campus of the Uni. The only thing good about where I live is the fact that there is this really cool store selling music instruments which is just a stone throw away from my apartment. I really want to go there once and take a look at a couple of guitars and hopefully get the chance to actually hold a Fender and a Gibson Les Paul (for obvious reasons). Also, hopefully, I'll even get a chance to check out a couple of organs like the Vox Continental or the Farfisa. But on the down side, I probably may drop the guitars down or knock the organs over or something because I am kind of clumsy and so not musically inclined! LOL! Gosh! I wish I was living in suburbs like Epsom! LOL! Hopefully, I'll be able to move there eventually! Where are you in Auckland?
  13. Well, I got into R.E.M thanks to my dad! Its one of the few bands he loves from the 80s. My first albums were in fact "Murmur" and "Out of Time" (my dad bought them both together actually so it was pretty much a double treat for him at the time) .I remember tapping my feet to songs like "Radio Free Europe" and "West Of The Fields". I was just 7 when my dad bought those albums (in cassette form) in 1994 and he used to play them quite often with stuff like Floyd and Queen! It brings back some awesome childhood memories to be honest! And from Fables of Reconstruction, I really like "Can't Get There From Here" and "Life And How To Live It". I, to be honest, get a bit annoyed when people say they like R.E.M and yet know only 2 songs, namely "Everybody Hurts" and "Losing My Religion" and I know you feel the same way!
  14. Always loved R.E.M! This song pretty much started it all for me : The lyrics are beautiful!

Yep! Cool huh? Howdy neighbour! Always awesome to know another Zep Head from the same city! And yes I have tried the Double Brown...it was a bit too bitter to be honest but I think it will grow on me eventually if I down a few more often! And yes a forum meet would be a blast man! A night full of Zep and beer! Just pure heaven!!
