  1. I love that song! Anyway, back to the topic : Living In A World Without You - The Rasmus
  2. I couldn't agree more about the 80s! Things became a bit too proper...From documentaries, I could see the change in people's mindsets in the 80s! And I love very few bands from the 80s like Bon Jovi and INXS and music became a bit too ummm "pop oriented" and "diva centric" LOL!

  3. Well, we Kiwis are very casual and laid-back. For instance, at my Uni, the professors do not give a damn whether students are late to class or do their homework on time, etc. Sometimes people just walk out of class if they find it too boring and there is no rule against smoking cigs on campus or guys having waist length hair! LOL!

Hmmm...as far as beer is concerned, my tastes are pretty simple :
  7. That movie is just priceless! Its a classic! :D Gosh! The 70s were one hell of a decade what with movies like that and bands like Zep and Floyd being at their prime! Its times like these when I really wish that I had been a teenager in the 70s! :)

  8. Home Sweet Home - Carrie Underwood
  9. Awww...you're very welcome! :) I'm just stating a fact! And I couldn't agree with you more! Its finding these obscure bands who prove to be absolute gems which makes all this research so worth it! I try to stay away from the radio! LOL! Somehow, today's mainstream doesn't appeal to me much! Love underground stuff, indie and of course 60s psychedel...

  10. I truly think you deserve the tiltle "The Encyclopedia of Music" or something! Your knowledge of the blues, psychedelic rock and countless other genres is just so extensive! Thanks to you, I (during these past couple of weeks) have got into so many bands that its getting pretty tough to keep count! LOL! I, to be honest consider you to be the "voice of reason" aro...

  11. That video about Cheech and Chong ("Up In Smoke") is by far the funniest! Thank you so much for posting that! I laughed till my sides started to ache! That really brightened up my day today! Thank you so much!! :D

  12. The band Aqua should be sued for creating such shit! :hysterical:
  13. Virginia, I nearly fell off my chair after hearing that one! Thank you!!!! At first it sounded like a nice song with some pretty cool guitar riffs and then when the lyrics and the rap section came on, gosh! It just made me howl with laughter! :hysterical:
  14. Oh man! That sounded like something out of a commercial for a kids day care centre or something! Gosh! Hilarious!
  15. In view of what today is, I just thought I'll bring this thread back up again to spread some cheer around here! I so wanna go to "Funky Town"! LOL!
  16. Hmmm....after a lot of thought, I think I'll ask Jimmy this : "How does it feel after all these years to know that the music of Led Zeppelin is touching the hearts of fans belonging to the younger generations?".
  17. Hey! :D Since its already the 12th of September here in NZ, here's wishing you a very happy birthday!! :D Have an awesome day! Cheers! :D

  18. Who Says You Can't Go Home - Bon Jovi
  19. OMG! Thank you! LOL! I never ever laughed so hard in my life! LOL!
  20. Oh man! This is probably one of the funniest and worst songs I have ever come across in my life! Absolute shit! LOL!
  21. Well, Led Zep was practically every where I went today! For instance, I was walking towards my Uni and I saw this older guy from the back with long, blond and curly hair! Guess who I thought off immediately?? LOL! Anyway, I couldn't see his face. He was walking right in front of me. He was a bit fatter than what Robert is as far as his ummm backside was concerned! LOL! Then while walking back home, I was crossing the street and this guy had just crossed the street a couple of seconds before me and BHAM! Lo and behold, he was wearing a Led Zep t-shirt! I recognised the ZOSO logo instantly and it said Led Zeppelin at the back! I kept praying that he might turn around so that I could catch his eye and get an even better look at the front part of the t-shirt! He was tall, had on a monkey cap and that cool t-shirt with a pair of white shorts and jandals to match (we Kiwis call Sandals "Jandals" ). I was kicking myself! Just think! I might have been able to actually stricke-up a conversation with him and maybe got to know another Zep Head! Damn! If only I had walked a bit faster!!
