Anyway, back to the topic. I imagine Plant was hardest hit by Bonzo's death as they were truly close friends and he must've felt really devasted since he lost his son just three years before. Did he talk much , in an open way about that time immediately after Bonzos death? I don't recall reading anything too detailed in books. I'm sure some of the more literate fans here can point to some references.

Just listened to that show , Winston's version. It's outstanding, I can't imagine needing another version. Great show for '77...in some ways better than the others of the run, especially the latter half of the show. It builds nicely.

3/21/75 is indeed an epic show but I'm skeptical about my enjoyment of this new board tape as so many shows that I have loved as great audience tapes are diminished by the warts and all presentation of a soundboard, mainly Plants vocal warts and Jimmy's finger problems. Baton Rouge 2/28 and Long Beach 3/11 comes to mind. The audience tapes are way more enjoyable to me.

Empress Valley should be giving away this damn "Viva" bullshit as a bonus for purchasing the new SBD title, not putting a teaser track out there with a bunch of shit that's already been available. Nonsense. Pure opportunism. I can feel the ground rumbling as that fearsome giant Peter Grant turns in his grave.

The original TMQ vinyl. All CD releases are sourced from vinyl. Godfather did an excellent CD release of both 9/13 and 9/14. You wouldn't need another, but the original vinyl is the money.

I'd love to see more pics from studio sessions, particularly of Bonzo. Especially Presence or ITTOD. I have never seen any confirmed shots of Bonzo's supposed Silver Sparkle Ludwig kit.

Has anyone inquired with Mr Fishead about a clue? I suppose this is some sort of big dramatic mystery to get Zep fans frothing at the mouth and ready to drop $$$ tout suite.

I'm not being ridiculous. Just look at the number of Zep bootlegs listed on eBay and notice the sellers. Most of them are in Japan, and are in business and sell multiple copies of titles. I was selling off a few titles from my personal collection and got warned once, then banned from selling for life. It's very easy for someone to flag an item as unauthorized and it's perfectly logical that a high volume seller of bootleg merchandise would flag my listing if they also want to sell the same title for twice as much. I see the same sellers with their overpriced boots listing titles over and over. They break the rules every day, for years, and do so without consequence. If ebay were serious about cracking down on sellers of unauthorized live recordings they would easily spot and target these guys, but they don't. However, they shut my little ass down tout suite. Double standard. That is why I can't stand eBay.

eBay banned me for life for selling some bootleg Zep CDs from my collection. However, I see boots constantly listed by the same opportunistic high volume sellers, most of which are overpriced. Likely one of those skank ass sellers reported me to eliminate competition. What load of shit, I can't stand eBay.
