  1. Thanks to all for saving some of the good old material from the old site. I hope Sam archives it after the site goes offline just in case.
  2. Did you get the issue a couple months ago that had the 7" White Stripes single? which reminds me: The White Stripes - Ball & Biscuit
  3. Hey Chicken, I'm just checking this feature out and saying hello.

  4. I'm fairly sure there is not a deluxe edition of "The Who Sell Out." However, the 1995 remastered release does contain an unusually large amount of bonus tracks.
  5. Yes, I have all the deluxe editions: My Generation, Tommy, Live At Leeds and Who's Next. They're all as advertised, but here's a few things buyers should know: - Some of the tracks on the 1995 remaster of Who's Next do not appear on the deluxe edition. - The deluxe edition of My Generation has a small omission. On the stereo version of the song "My Generation" the guitar overdubs during the bass solos are missing (and it's very noticeable). However, there is a remastered mono version at the end of the record that has these overdubs.
  6. Yeah, this whole thread should be retitled and moved into the Zep Trivia forum.
  7. That he could, but every now and then I wish Pete would have written a straight out punk song, you know, just to see how he'd do it.
  8. I think that might be a bit of a stretch...
  9. I'm a big Wholigan as my signature illustrates. I saw the band for the first time this year in Uniondale NY on a road trip and it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. Hopefully this thread gets more attention than the Who thread on the old site did.
  10. I was very disappointed that I didn't get to see them
  11. They just seem to be shafting their fans. Everything about that show was a stab in the back. The setlist was shit, the performance was shit, the tickets were on the expensive side, and the shirts were over 60 dollars. I saw the Who perform in March and not only were these 60 year olds able to put on a more energetic performance, but their prices were far more reasonable. I guess Tool lived up to their name.
  12. I'll never put more money towards a Tool concert after the show I saw this summer in Milwaukee. Without a doubt the worst concert I've ever been to. The set was short, they had endless interludes between the songs which cut down on the amount of songs that could be played, you couldn't hear the vocals, and they played no encores. BS show
  13. I'm quite the fan of the Cars, although I know they are not well thought of on this board.
  14. I found one in a shop not too long ago but they were asking for $599 for it. Forget it.
  15. I was afraid that most of the big users would just forgo the new site in favor of fan sites.
