    Hey

welcome to hours and hours of lunacy :D
  2. Cool to see another 2nd July person here on this board, you forgot july 2nd 1968.... First of all the Beatles recorded Ob La Di Ob La Da then and i was born that day as well :D
  3. Fucking brilliant.....may the song remain with your force!!!!
  4. Been collecting zep vinyl for quite some years, here are some of these records: and of course the ultimate O2 souvenir....
  5. bout cover/tribute bands... here is one specific one that caught my attention, thanks to the amazing talents of their members, give a warm welcome to Robert "Wasabi-san" Plant John "2 Chopsticks" Bonham John Paul "Harakiri" Jones-san and Jimmy "Noodles make velly good stlings" Page The sushi lemains the same (no Japanese people were really hurt filming this movie.....at least I hope so.....no offense etc etc) http://video.google.ca/videoplay?docid=363...mp;q=&hl=nl
  6. You got a lot of nerves to post moving pictures here!!! it even takes more guts to cover ALS Most of all it takes a lot of guts to have a JPJ haircut!!!! I give you the full 10 points... :D really cool, your playing is amazing Keep rockin
  7. Well, thanx to all of you ladies and gents for all the sweet/funny/inspiring replies for a bunch of pix, merci beaucoup from far away Holland Also Amazonic's reply was very funny to "get into the movies", since I did that in some low budget films already :D (and wow lady....you got class) Just to give you the impression and a good laugh here is one of them called N.O.D. http://nl.youtube.com/watch?v=TCdijE92OGU (uhhhh, yeah, a very typecast kind of acting more or less the worst playbacking on a fake synth) P.S. Noora, your Morrison quote just exactly states the vibe of mind that makes sense to me, the will to be weird :D (rock on, you are a hippie princess)
  8. After watching Robert's fantasy sequence in TSRTS for the umteenth time I decided to get into medieval haute couture and save a Damsel-in-a-dress as well. All I found was this cute little dragon.......
  9. Have a brilliant birthday, Ev Rock on!!!!!
  10. Hehehe.....why are you soooo angry? If you don't like the Zep guys playing with the Foo Fighters, please go complain to Jimmy and JPJ, and tell them they should never jam again with any band in the world. They would for sure understand that your ego has been hurt and never do such naughtynaughtynaughty things again with bad people like Dave Grohl.... Also please go sit in the front row of a Plant/Krauss concert with a big cardboard sign that reads "Alison, you are Zeppelin's Yoko Ono" Robert would surely appreciate your enlightened opinion. :D
  11. And finally another look of a wandering hippie..... (uh yeah, the Taj Mahal is actually quite petite)
  12. By the way, Doublenecker....everything is temporary, especially looks and the shape of the human body, it's the soul that counts, beeing ugly from within is what true ugliness is. This next picture could be defined as "cosmic ugliness"........or supreme lunacy
  13. Four months of not shaving and don't caring a damn about "cutipie" looks can still make a man look happy, haha.
  14. Beauty comes from within, and if you do not like your recent looks, then why not change it....anything goes and the sky is the limit. And indeed you do look like Jack Black, nothing wrong with that (just imagine that every male on the planet would look exactly like Jimmy Page in 1973....that would be fun for a while but would get boring very soon as well )
  15. I think you could get a more impressive array by throwing meat against the wall... Cool idea, give it a shot and post me the recording, hah hah (else we could sell the idea to Snotklip, uhhh Slipknot) :D
  16. "I can't say it was an acoustic, I've tried bowing an acoustic and there simply isn't enough signal there to make it so live." Bowing an acoustic guitar can make quite an impressive array of sound, I made most of the soundtrack of this movie by bowing an acoustic guitar recorded through a microphone with lots of effects on it. (what you hear is actually 4 bowed guitars layered on the same 4 beeing played backwards, enjoy) http://vids.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseacti...ideoID=15998500 (if the link doesn't work, just copy and paste)
  17. Great pics, how was the Amsterdam show?

  18. As far as I heard them there is the "Wendy" version which is even better than the "Schoeps".
  19. I just purchased a vinyl version of Jimmy's Lucifer rising soundtrack on Boleskine House Records (the blue vinyl disk). Since only 1000 have been made I wondered how the album has been spread all over the world. So if you have one copy of it, which number of the 1000 is it and where do you live.
  20. Yat Kha from Mongolia.....their singer has the weirdest voice ever (he is able to sing 2 tones at one time)......they even covered "When the levee breaks" among other cool songs on their last album. go check it out.....but beware, it is VERY very weird stuff indeed.
  21. Where can we buy your action figure, Samo-Kodela?
  22. A guy that I met at this forum , and later at the hotel that I was staying in put it this way: We were all parts of a big cozmic puzzle coming together to see the greatest show on earth. With or without Paris Hilton, the show WAS amazing. Why all the attention for one talentless girl who got lucky? And maybe she has some talents after all, during the soundcheck Plant said something bout the girls that would come visit him during the drum solo, like back in '73 (the actual drum solo that evening, Dec 9th took 3 minutes, played by Jason's son......) And I think everyone her at this forum deserved to be there.....including YOU and YOU and YOU with the red sneekers that may smell terribly but anyway....
  23. Aaaaaarrrrggghhh, this reminds me indeed of how I hated the Eighties. I even knew one guy who found this version better than the original, can ya imagine.
