Just finished making a nice beef stroganoff. Sauteed mushrooms, shalott, and parsley in some olive oil. Added beef stock, corn starch, pasta water, red wine and sour cream to the sauté mix. Then pan fried some shaved ribeye steak with olive oil. Boiled egg noodles and put it all together in the sauté mix pot. Very tasty!

With all due respect to zepscoda and other Giants fans out there - this to be one of the lowest points in franchise history. Geno Smith shouldn’t even have a job in the nfl let alone start for the Giants.... Strider, what’s up with these Raiders - they should be blowin this game up!

Trying to figure out what the Hell happened last night. Had a Christmas party/open house at the Walter residence. It was like The Hangover - lots of crazy stories being reported this morning. Just got a report that our friends who have a jeep, that we went 4 wheeling with in some vacant lots, couldn’t find their keys this morning after sleep over. Went out to the Jeep only to find it still running.... Pictures are circulating, but I’m not posting any! 😜

Only if they’re morons... Need better coaching first and foremost. The young guys haven’t come along as expected. Injuries/suspension to key players. Dak is holding on for dear life. We need a #1 receiver while Dez still has some life, develop a tight end younger than 35, and get the defense more depth. Lots of needs, but a new qb isn’t one of them.

I love chili. I bet you have all sorts of goodies in your recipe. Oven is about 6 months old, so yes relatively new. Plus it’s gas so it’s a much easier cleanup. It cooks beautifully and evenly. The turkey yesterday took 5.5 hrs as expected. The taste and moisture were second to none. Everyone enjoyed and were sent home with leftovers for later. I’ve already had another plate this afternoon for lunch. Getting ready for Christmas decorations to be put up over the remainder of the weekend.

It’s not really as big as it sounds. Yes, I make stuffing from scratch about an hour before filling up both the cavity and neck area as well. Then I rub butter all over the bird and let it sit for a little while. I roast it for about 5 to 5.5 hours, basting it every 30-45 min. Yes pies too. 2 apple and 2 pumpkin, plus Mrs. Walter’s pecan bars. Lots and lots of food. We’re having 14 this year over at the new pad. It’s supposed to rain tomorrow, but that’s alright. Plenty of entertainment to keep everyone at bey. I’ll take a photograph tomorrow morning before I put her in her oven bed.

25.53 lb bird defrosting in the fridge in the garage....since last Thursday! Bought most of the groceries yesterday. Expecting 14 this year at the table. Picking up pies from the bakery tomorrow morning. Final trip to the liquor store this afternoon - then we’ll be set!

The offensive line couldn’t block anyone and the defense couldn’t stop em either. Hence 31 unanswered points and a qb turning the ball over 5 times and lucky to escape without a concussion or worse... Season is done as long as Lee and Smith are out. Can’t lose 4 all-pros (not just Pro Bowlers) and continue to win.
