  1. Yep, he's on the IR. Will Orton join the list of back-ups (including his head coach) to step in and get a huge victory for the 'boys?
  2. GO 'CUSE!!! Pretty strong words, Strider.
  3. Officially, yes - but two games are 'win and in' games, so that is basically playoff ball. Lose and see you next season.... Rodgers returning is big for the Packers, they'd better protect him or risk having a huge mess on their hands. Chicago would be better off with their back-up playing, IMO. Rick, I agree that Philly should destroy Dallas. But, that's why they play the games, right?!?
  4. New song by JBT, from their upcoming new disc titled 'Flesh & Blood' coming out next year. Interesting video.... Any other fans of John Butler here? The trio has a new drummer, with Nicky Bomba leaving to continue his musical aspirations.
  5. This whole saga is just another week in the life of a Cowboys fan. What other team has this much crazy sh!t going on, every season?!? It is admirable that Kitna is doing that - plus a smart tax move - and under the circumstances, it's the best move they could make. He knows the system well, has been in and around the playoff game atmosphere, and still had a strong arm when he retired in 2011. IF the Cowboys D can step up and hold Philly under 30, this could be one of those insane Cowboy games for the history books....it's not like it hasn't happened before, plus for once this season - Philly is EXPECTED to win, no questions asked.
  6. Very cool! Thank you for that gift, Sam!
  7. Exactly, SAJ. Wasn't it Brussels or Zurich where Pagey's double neck made a strange sound when being plugged in for Rain Song and Robert goes, "Strange sound Benji"?
  8. I completely agree with your take on this JTM. As far as Frusciante goes, his story is a good one and he would be a fine 1/3 choice for a IMGL2. EVH would also be a good one, IMO.
  9. Happy holidays to all and have a safe, healthy 2014.
  10. I want to go on record, KB, that I apologize if I hurt your feelings or offended you Saturday night. That wasn't my intention and am sorry if that's what the outcome was. Life is too short to have petty squabbles over opinions that really don't mean much to begin with. I haven't even returned to that thread since then and have no interest in doing so either. Happy holidays to you and your family.
  11. ^That was really a surprise to me. Not the fact they won, but the level of domination.
  12. The Cowboys/Eagles game has been moved to Sunday Night. I thought a team couldn't play 2 consecutive Sunday Night games, but oh well....this will be the 3rd straight year the Cowboys have played for the division title and playoff birth on Sunday Night Football - and we all know how the last two have gone!
  13. Watch out Cowboys' defense. After that display last night, Romo and co. might have to put up 60! Romo is having an MRI on his back today - looked like he injured his knee in the 4th quarter yesterday, but the reports are about his back. What a dog fight that game was! No pun intended, Eagles fans....
  14. It's always good for a top team (for them at least) to lose just before the playoffs, to get themselves refocused and realize they are not invincible, IMO. It seems the teams on a big win streak are the ones who never win the big show.
  15. It will, the Cowboys have all tie-breakers. They are a perfect 5-0 against the LEast, so win and in - no matter what happens tonight. But with Philly's improved passing attack, allas (no D as Warren Sapp says) will have it's hands full and had better be prepared to hang 6 TD's on them!
  16. 8-6 so far, still mediocre....glad I didn't switch the buffalo pick!
  17. Steelers knock off Green Bay, roll out the red carpet for Chicago! Your Dolphins are still alive, Paul!
  18. Even though I hate the Giants, that was a bullshit fumble call in OT. The Lions are ridiculous! Can't believe Arizona won, NO is in BIG trouble....sorry PP!
  19. Good games so far... watching the Saints/Panthers, when the Cowboys are on commercial!
  20. Hi Paul! I really like what your Dolphins have been doing! I think I should've picked them today, but Buffalo is such a tough place to play and all this weather coming in too. If Miller and Thomas can run, and they should be able to, I think you guys will continue to win. My Cowboys are a disgrace to the star they wear on their helmets. It all starts at the top...until Jones is gone, nothing will change. If they lose the next two, MAYBE he'll get rid of Garrett. But he will just hire another puppet, and Jerrah will stay on as GM and that is where the problem originates.
  21. Strider, I just looked at last year's prediction thread and you were 12 games out heading into week 16... Maybe you're remembering the playoffs picks.
  22. Thank you, darlin'. Sucks that life got in the way of my football picks!
  23. You're still trying to figure that out....I'm sure you can find a political action blog/website that will feed you the answer. Or wait, we have the über intelligent AS to post a link with the answer!
  24. I guess what everyone is saying is true....get a grasp of reading the English language - all of the people mention in your link were democrats before the signing of the act. So now you can go whine again over to the unhappy thread....
  25. Upon signing the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Lyndon Johnson is said to have told aide Bill Moyers, "I think we have just delivered the South to the Republican Party for a long time to come." Far cry from your quote, but then again you seem to have it all figured out....
