Again, it's all conjecture. Elway singled handedly took his team to Super Bowls without much talent around him, won two when he finally had talent, and made Shannahan look like a genius - which may have been the most difficult feat of them all! Brady and Manning have had Pro Bowlers all around them and Marino could never carry a team when their back was against the wall in the playoffs. He was the greatest regular season qb of all time, for sure!

I just can't tell which Indy will show up! I mean their running game as been horrific! Luck may be their best option to run the ball. But, New England's run defense has been bad too! I don't like picking against the Pats, but I like the Colts defense better. It'll be interesting to see if Adam Vinatieri will be a game decider - again....

So, In The Evening thinks Peyton Manning is easily one of the top 3 players in NFL history - obviously Manning's statistics support that claim and can be used as factual information. My question back was, where would that leave Tom Brady in the discussion? They are in the same era, have played each other a number of times - if Brady would be ahead of Manning, then there are two of the top three of all-time right there. So, who would be your top 5 all-time NFL players? My #1 qb of all-time would have to be Joe Montana. He could lead a team to water in the desert. My top 5 players, that's more difficult. Join the conversation, if you will. I am going to ponder who I think would be in my top 5....

In my opinion, Montana was the best qb. But this conversation would probably be better served in the actual NFL thread.

I am a teacher also and my school requires parental participation, otherwise you can go back to whatever school you came from. That's why I love where I am and what I do, we have built a great little community and have a real sense of family here - something I don't see in other schools in this area. That's just a part of why we are effectively educating these kids.

Mrs. Walter and her side of the family are ALL FSU fans.....I went to bed after the first possession of the 2nd half. My work day starts too early to be up that late.... What a finish! Congrats to the Seminoles!
