Sounds like a great time, for sure! Glad you two enjoyed the time together! Orlando is NOTHING like LA, as far as cool places to go! If it's a family, not a problem - adults only, snooze-fest! There are some places, but I can't even imagine what kinda trouble/adult fun you could get me into out there!

Walter Jr. and I were watching the top 10 all-time Super Bowls show on the NFL network the other night and I was telling him about this game - I was rooting for the Bills too - and then it showed up in the top 5, I believe. Tough one for sure!

How do you think it is in Tampa, Jacksonville, Miami, and used to be like in Dallas when they had the open roof Texas Stadium (so God could watch his favorite team)? College teams all throughout the south don't have domed stadiums, and they begin playing earlier than the NFL. Anyway, I was referring to the Super Bowl, only, with the initial statement - commenting on you saying all SB's should be played indoors.

....and wet! Snow showers are much worse than snow itself - for the spectators. I disagree with indoor stadiums only - football was meant to be played in the elements, IMO.

Plus Hot Dog livened up the '80 tour, where it was placed in the set list.

It'll probably be Monday night at 9:00 - just to f*ck us all on the east coast! Again, why this game isn't always played on Saturday night is beyond me! The parties would be bigger and better, plus most would have the next day off....

Any word on if any of them are going to attend the event?

I'm thinking pick 5 teams, either league, add up their wins - but you get to drop the lowest team, so everyone gets a "mulligan" so to speak. This should probably be just regular season though. So basically add up the wins for the 4 teams you pick, who have the most wins. That or we could go with a +/- score, meaning add up all the wins and subtract all the loses and whoever has the highest + score, wins. Just some ideas.

It is 13, lucky or unlucky for Seattle....we will find out in about 10 days!

On Plant's '88 Non-Stop Go tour for Now and Zen, there weren't any songs played for 12-14 min. There was no improvising at all with that band. I recorded two of the shows over the summer of '88 and had to flip the tape at the same point of the same song, both shows. Very consistent. I agree that Page's '88 Outrider Tour show was as close to a Zeppelin style show we would ever see from any of them. The bow/noise solo was a sight to be seen and is pretty much the reason why that part of our beloved '77 boots are widely regarded as "have to have been there" segments. And you know how it is? is correct about why the '77 shows had rest periods for Plant. The problem is that Over The Top and the noise/bow solo's frequently backed up to each other and last way too damn long - some of the OTT's were 25-30 min. long! That along with a 15-20+ min. Page solo really killed the shows momentum, IMO - but then again, "you had to be there"....

Walter Jr. and I were doing some research on the Seattle Seahawks history and interestingly enough their first playoff win ever was against....the Denver Broncos. Seattle won 31-7.

Should help his back some at least.
