  1. They did! Detroit's...figure if you can't beat 'em, hire 'em!
  2. ^ You know the Cowboys are screwed with Jerrah in charge!
  3. That really sucks! Hope things turn around for you soon, job wise and personally as well.
  4. Given the right climate and locker room, he should be a fine player. There are way more gay guys in the NFL locker rooms than everyone thinks. Glad he had the courage to come out in a sport that definitely is tough to do so.
  5. Thanks pph! I hope your job search takes a turn for the better!
  6. Snarky....that's someone else's choice of words - not mine. You've always been pretty thoughtful and considerate to me. Even when maybe I didn't deserve it! Some just can't let things go and admit to others when they're wrong. That's on them though!
  7. Thank you! I appreciate that. Thank you to redrum also. I appreciate the support guys. Wednesday is a big day for her. So if it comes across your minds, positive thoughts from around the globe would be awesome! Again thanks to everyone, I'm truly blessed to be a part of an amazing group of caring people here!
  8. Watching the 3,000m women's speed skating. I like the tight short track racing more, but racin' is racin' in my book!

....and a red eye for Costas!

When the hotels tell you not to wash your face with the sink water, that's a problem. I've never seen pink eye look like that, btw. Plus to the American public, he was the first face we saw from over there after all of the "dog holocaust", side-by-side toilet, and dark yellow drinking water stories that have seeped out from behind the iron curtain. The post Olympic stories are going to be something....

How about Bob Costas' eye after sleeping on one of those clean, new pillows?!? The stories that are gonna come out after these Olympics, associated with the deplorable accommodations, is gonna be something! Not to mention all of the theft, etc. That country is the mob on steroids!
  12. Russia is just a HUGE organized crime "family".....
  13. Thanks for posting that. I had not heard that this was a controversy at all, and I didn't notice they were not plugged in Sun. night as I was not really watching it closely - more like listening with some glances, as I was getting things done before the 2nd half began. Completely understandable so they wouldn't worry about sound malfunctions and I think people need to catch a clue - it is a SHOW! Not a concert. They were there to entertain. I thought it was a good show. I've seen better, I've seen worse. One other thing, based on that picture from the link 2bit posted - Anthony Keidis is not in need of wearing a shirt more than Iggy Pop at all.
  14. Train Kept-A-Rollin/Nobody's Fault But Mine - Frankfurt - June 30, 1980
  15. One of the main reasons behind him parting ways with Jimmy in '98 was because of Jimmy's alcohol consumption, from what I understand.
  16. ^ Yeah to a 15-yarder and probably $25,000 league fine. I already knew that Denver took the mantle of most Super Bowl losses last night with 5, but Peyton Manning is also leading all quarterbacks with 12 playoff loses....that's why he'll be remembered as the greatest regular-season qb in history. In my mind Dan Marino is the GOAT in that category.
  17. Next: home against Clemson on Sunday. They have a 4-game road-trip later this month.
  18. Syracuse squeaked by ND....61-55. Hard fought - thank god for Cooney, 32 points - 9 3-pointers!
  19. ^ Edit to say this is The Onion type of sh!t - but not as good!
