  1. She looks like my waitress, last night, at the Ale House!
  2. ^ That IS some crazy sh!t, right?!? I mean like Hitler crazy sh!t!
  3. Watching the show right now. He didn't tease it, Robert mentioned the beginning lyrics as an example of what they would not be playing that night. Nothing "groovin'" like that were Robert's words.
  4. Going home to have a few drinks and pop in the DVD for Earl's Court May 24, 1975 and do my annual celebration of one of my favorite shows!
  5. If you posted information about what GZ was on, it didn't come out after your: . They didn't do a toxicology report, I thought. Was this a prescription that he was taking at the time?
  6. That video is not from '83 - that's for sure. He wasn't playing Zep tunes at that point and his hair/voice were not like that in '83. He played LLM on his Manic Nirvana tour when I saw him. Based on the number of guitarists with him on stage, I believe that is probably his Fate Of Nations tour.
  7. Nah, we're all too busy thinking about when our urine, etc. will be clean from "extra-curricular" activities!
  8. Cameron Crowe didn't mix up the albums, it's an example of Mark Ratners lack of "game" when it came to Stacy(or girls in general)...he couldn't even get the music right!
  9. LOVE Gov't Hooker! You and I was great in concert on her last tour - I do love Speechless though too (she didn't play it at our show)! Overall, I like BTW right now because the other discs have been played out so much. But, there are a few weak songs on that disc - IMO. I'm glad I caught her when we did because I believe this tour is going to be heavy on the BTW songs. Marry The Night should be great live - I've seen her do so many of the new songs on the different shows/events she has played over the past year, it will be interesting to see how she does them within the context of a complete show and not just a one-off song. Her performances are so varied, it reminds me of bands from days gone bye....but that would be blaspheme to say around here! This whole concert thing in the far east is crazy, like Strider said - things haven't changed much over the past 20-30 years, except people's lives being ruined.... She said that she is still currently writing music while on tour, wonder if these events will show up in a song or two? Peace.
  10. No, it's true. I remember reading the story a couple of years ago that he had legally changed his name. RIP Mr. Zeppelin.
  11. BP Fallon was there, I know he is Irish - but could it be him?
  12. Right on sista! I see that her tour is heading down to Oz in the next couple of months....you'll have to update us on any happenings!!! Yesterday, she proclaimed the day to be "Born This Way Day" due to it being 1 year since the album was released. What's everone's impression of Born This Way? Like it better than The Fame or Fame Monster? Peace.
  13. Chauncey is getting older, as Strider said, Blake's game needs a serious tune-up if he wants to be considered an elite player and not just a highlight reel AND they must resign Chris Paul next season. They could slip back into obscurity just as fast as they came out of it, IMO. They were a good story this season, but next year there will be expectations - which is something that organization hasn't had since....EVER! Now, where is Dwight Howard going to end up???

    Vote for me!

Yours did look the best, BTW. Even if you didn't ask me to vote for it, it would have been the one I picked! Good work and good luck, Type O!

    Vote for me!

I voted for the first one, right!?!
  16. Minus the threats of violence and physical harm to her, you're probably right. Whenever the roaches of the world are exposed in the light, it's always a good thing! Hiding behind religion makes me ill......
  17. What rug? When I get a look, I'll let ya know!
  18. You're sick of me? Good day to you too!
  19. Why are you so concerned with an old team that has below average pitching? Yankees were done when they didn't go out and get some arms during the off season.
  20. Lady Gaga's Manila concerts face protests By Elizabeth Yuan, CNN updated 10:16 AM EDT, Mon May 21, 2012 Members of Biblemode Youth Philippines protest in Manila Saturday in front of a banner showing Lady Gaga. STORY HIGHLIGHTS NEW: Commission on Human Rights says freedom of thought, expression, religion protected Christian group's leader expects two thousand protesters outside Manila venue Lady Gaga's Filipino promoter is run by a born-again Christian In Indonesia, her promoter is still trying to secure a permit (CNN) -- Christian groups in the Philippines planned to protest Lady Gaga's performances there Monday and Tuesday, just after Muslim protests have cast doubt whether she will be allowed to perform in Indonesia. "This protest is not against Lady Gaga as a person but on her music and on how she declares distorted views about the Lord Jesus Christ," said Reuben Abante, bishop of Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church and secretary-general of Biblemode Youth, which is leading the protests. Reached by phone, Abante said he expected a couple thousand protesters outside the Manila venue, Mall of Asia Arena, Monday night for a grand prayer rally before the concert. "We are Christian Filipinos. She comes to our land. For us, this is something that should not be shown to the youth we have." His brother, the group's president, is former Congressman Benny Abante, himself a pastor. Of particular offense to the group is the pop star's song, "Judas," with lyrics like, "Whoa whoa I'm in love with Juda-as, Jud-as," "Jesus is my virtue and Judas is the demon I cling to I cling to." This is something that should not be shown to the youth we have Bishop Reuben Abante, Lighthouse Bible Baptist Church Lady Gaga's Filipino promoter, Ovation Productions, is run by Renen de Guia, who is described on the company's website as a born-again Christian. Attempts to reach him were not successful. When asked if Lady Gaga's concerts could contravene Philippine laws, Loretta Ann P. Rosales, chairwoman of the Commission on Human Rights, replied in an email, "The Philippines is proud of the fact that we do indeed have one of the best Bill of Rights in our Constitution that has the widest latitude as all other Constitutional democracies in protecting freedom of thought, freedom of expression, freedom of religion." "I have heard raves over her concert by Filipinos who have watched her," she added. "Maybe I shall have a chance to enjoy her concert too one day." It is not the first time Rosales and Abante have faced off; in 2006, while both were in Congress, Abante had blocked passage of an anti-discrimination bill co-authored by Rosales aimed at protecting lesbians, gays, bisexuals and transgenders.<a name="em2"> Lady Gaga versus Indonesia For Lady Gaga, the protests in the Philippines are the latest in her problematic Asian tour. Her provocative lyrics and risqué costumes have prompted conservative Muslims in Indonesia to call for the cancellation of her upcoming concert in Jakarta. As of Monday, her Indonesian promoter, Big Daddy Entertainment, was still trying to secure a permit, and the June 3 event was still on, according to its website. Read more about the Muslim protests against Lady Gaga When she opened her tour in Seoul, South Korea, last month, it was to concertgoers aged 18 and above after the Korea Media Rating Board banned the show for minors, even with an accompanying parent or guardian. At the heart of Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" tour is her message to gay youth to embrace and accept their sexual identities.
