  1. What have you read? Just curious. She does like to do things for shock value after all.
  2. If you're rolling your eyes at me, MM, you're probably correct - I shouldn't have been so sarcastic.
  3. .....takes one to know one.....
  4. Easy now. In with the good air, out with the bad air..... If you have no interest and know nothing about American sports, then why post about it in the first place?
  5. Actually Canada has a team and they won the World Series before. You're point remains true though.
  6. This thread was started by Juliet to celebrate a musician and artist that she enjoys. Others have joined in to do the same, or to pass along information. It would be appreciated if you could respect that. There is a "Love Her or Hate Her" thread if you would like to go down the avenue of "teasing people". Thank you in advance.
  7. Rick, tell us what you really think! Following baseball that closely in May is maddening! It's like watching your investment portfolio change hourly. Let the season play out some.....
  8. I have a mono 45 of Whole Lotta Love that was my father's, it has Livin' Lovin' Maid on the b-side.
  9. You mean 3 weeks after that post, that's the best you got? Now THAT'S funny and yet sad!
  10. Ditto for me on both! Except for VH, I could see them and Sammy ran around acting drunk and cursing constantly between songs. His ego was too much to take! As for GnR/Metallica, we saw them at the Citrus Bowl right after the Montreal accident too. Extra guitarist as well - they did kick ass that's for sure! GnR came on at 1:00, rocked the first 4 songs then went on a run of ballads that put everyone to sleep. Needless to say it was the final time I spent money on them.....
  11. They were supposed to open for one of my favorite groups, John Butler Trio, last summer in Atlanta at The Tabernacle. However the singer, I believe, was ill and they could not perform. But a member of the group played guitar to a programmed beat and sang various songs, including one I had just seen them perform on letterman - I believe. Well he was very good, and a bit nervous also, he sipped on a few beers between songs and went through a set for about 30-40 min. Anyway, that is my limited but enjoyable experience with Gomez, a band you obviously enjoy a lot! John Butler had nothing but great things to say about them too, btw. Peace.
  12. Based on your recent pictures from the Eagles show, you were like 1 or 2 when you were at that NO '73 show? I will have to put that disc in my car tomorrow morning! Enjoy Debs!!!
  13. Are You Gonna Go My Way? - Lenny Kravitz
  14. The Thin Ice - Pink Floyd
  15. Of course you know, the back cover picture on the VH album Diver Down was taken at that show at the Citrus Bowl.
  16. Photo from her Tokyo show....looks like she is pulling out all the stops!
  17. Thanks for answering my question, MM and Nutrocker, I haven't had the pleasure of listening to those shows. Were they as weak as '75 versions?
  18. No sh!t, still wouldn't explain why they would be in LA in June of '75.
  19. Ace Of Spades - Motörhead
  20. Love Is A Long Road - Tom Petty
