  1. I know urine tests positive for 30 days, give or take a few days depending on the volume of use. Or so I've been told.
  2. Jane's Addiction this past Tuesday @ House Of Blues. They played a great set all the usual visuals, Perry's wife and another woman dancing, stripping and simulating various acts - including being murdered during "Ted, just admit it..." by a guy who reminded me of the clown in Porno For Pyros sets back in the 90's. They were in fine form both musically and vocally - played some from all 4 studio albums, but heavy on Ritual.... In the middle of the show some goons decided to have a mosh pit, pushing over women and some young teenagers for their own enjoyment. Never ceases to amaze me how people infringe on others without any thought as to anyone else's personal space or safety. Didn't ruin the show....just put a damper on it. Recorded a bit of the show on my phone and it turned out pretty good. Just gotta figure out how to post it....
  3. I thought he sounded good at the O2 show, not the best ever but he also hadn't played live in sometime plus there was a lot of pressure. The rehearsals, he sounded good for them also. With more consistent playing he would get even better, IMO. I thought he played better in '98 than '95, after more consistent playing time. So, I can't go with you on that call. I would love to see him do more, but completely understand if he doesn't. Just put out more unreleased Zeppelin material, at least!
  4. Nice add, April_Lynn!
  5. You just figured that out - at 12:56 am??? You crack me up!
  6. I garnered it from our local news, who was sourcing the evidence that was released, along with the family physician's report. Sanford is within 45 min from where we live. You must have a lot of interest in this to try to recreate a 3-D model of the altercation.
  7. AWESOME!!! 2/2 Pagemeister! Thank you, I just checked my autotune for Sunday night. Peace.
  8. Don't Bring Me Down - ELO
  9. Amen to that! That's why I enjoy Captain Jenks making the media look like such morons when they let him come on with an "eye witness account".....they just jump at the first inkling of getting a scoop (whether it is true or not) over the other media outlets. Whatever happened to responsible journalism???
  10. This morning they were saying 2-4 inches away - I am sick of all of this bad reporting!
  11. I agree with you, but a few seem hell bent on giving another date or another reason why it can't be ChiTown '73.....
  12. Maybe I'm missing something here....so your take is that the recording is from June of '72? Interesting....anybody else thinking that?
  13. I agree that they're too old. But, in the playoffs that slowed down, half-court game can add years to those old legs! I honestly don't know enough about the Pacers to claim they can run all the way to the Finals. Experience will beat them, eventually.
  14. Didn't some of Page's '77 "noise" solo's go on longer than that? Or did it just seem that way???
  15. Rick, you are loyal to a fault - that's for sure! The 76'ers and Clippers have been your teams all year and you won't leave them behind until the dirt is thrown on them.... With that said, I have no idea who will come out of the East at this point. Leaning towards the Celtics taking on the Spurs at this point - barring anymore injuries that is.
  16. ^ Great video, thanks for posting it! Next month, going to see The Wall for the 2nd time....can't wait!!!
  17. True! Same here. No f'in way would I pay that much, unless I had money to burn....
  18. Unless it's Country Music, then not many "come out of the closet" in the other direction. Dixie Chicks, for example, were completely shunned after coming out against Bush. Politicians should receive permission from artists to use their work, because it gives the image that the artist is in agreement with them when their songs, etc. are used at rallies and in slogans.
  19. That's a nice story, it reminds me of my grandparents. They were together for more than 50 years and passed within months of each other as well. As far as my parents go....that's another story. My mother has been married 3 three times, divorced twice and now a widower. My father re-married and adopted her children as his and never paid child support to us. He was in and out of jail for stealing money from businesses he worked for, to use it to gamble with. He passed in '08 and left me some money, which I used to pre-pay my son's college tuition with. There were some good times, but mostly disappoinment. He did keep in touch better once my son was born. At least our relationship finished on a positive note, just wished we had more consistent contact during my formative years. My mother has never really been a mother....very selfish. Now that I'm a parent, I just don't see how people can be that way to their own kids. Peace.
  20. It's also worth noting that the people who treated Zimmerman the night of the shooting did not even give him a band-aid for his cuts that night, so the cuts were superficial, did not use gloves when taking him in for questioning at police headquarters, so he did not bleed from the head after being cleaned up and did not suffer a concussion (according to the family physician's report) even though he was allegedly having his head banged on the concrete for at least a minute and to the point where he claimed he was beginning to lose consciousness. One last thing, Martin was not shot at close range either. His fatal gunshot wound is characterized as an intermediate range distance away....
