  1. Day Tripper - The Beatles
  2. Animals and Wish You Were Here are the BEST driving discs for a road trip! You can just get lost in them both. The earlier post on the early Floyd is right on. They were so different in their various stages of the group. Green Is The Colour is a great song, See Emily Play is one of my all time Floyd favorites (which apparently they never even played live, ever) and people should check out Atom Heart Mother. Alan's Psychedelic Breakfast is a wonderful piece, especially if you dig Richard Wright's piano playing, Summer of '68 is another great Wright piece, If is classic Waters and Fat Old Sun is some great early Gilmour. There is so much to listen to when it comes to the Floyd - not just Comfortably Numb and Money all the time! After their reunion gig, I went back and bought each disc in its remastered form from Piper onward to listen to the progression (had most on vinyl or tape). As a result I made 5 compliation discs (I called them The Pinkest Of All Floyd Vol. I - V) blending in different songs from all the different time periods. It is amazing how well Syd's songs go along with Gilmour's from the Division Bell, etc. Also, The Final Cut's songs are much better as individual songs in the context of other Floyd songs, than as its own disc. Anyway, they were truely an amazing band from beginning to end.
  3. Three Days - Jane's Addiction
  4. Children Of The Grave - Black Sabbath
  5. Who will stop the Bills? How about the cops!!
  6. Nice!! I LOVE his Truth disc! Their version of You Shook Me is my fav. of all the versions out there. Anyway..... Listening to No Quarter from Vancouver '75 - great piano, drum jam for first thing in the morning!!
  7. Since you post most often, I think it would be appropriate for you to "kick off" the new season!
  8. Treat Yo Mama - John Butler Trio
  9. Sometimes Life Ain't What It Seems - John Butler Trio

  11. Donte Whitner...... What's this, another Buffalo Bill in trouble? Boy Yukon, TO is going to fit in perfect with your team full of messes!!

  15. Funky Tonight - John Butler Trio
  16. I heard about Brett through another musicians website - John Butler Trio. They all seem to like him, but I have never gotten into Brett's music. If you want to check out an amazing guitarist check out John Butler: Peace.
  17. Received my tix for Jane's and NIN for next month - can't wait!!!
  18. Oh, That Smell - Lynard Skynard
  19. Good idea. The stage is going to be HUGE (the entire Stones stage from their last tour can fit inside) and the are playing "in the round" basically so shouldn't be too many bad seats in the house. I got my $95 tix for the Tampa gig in October, this past Monday. Going to be awesome!!!!
  20. Of course since the Edge said he was influenced by Pagey while making this disc, all the better!!
  21. Great new disc! A few of the songs (Breathe, Stand Up Comedy, Magnificent, Moment of Surrender) are already on my all-time fav. U2 songs list. Can't wait to hear how the songs come across live!! Seeing them in October, just bought tix yesterday. Peace.
  22. Amen to that! The last disc I loved from them was Pump back in what '89 or so?
