Yup! I was 15, waited in a line wrapping around the Carrier Dome to get tickets. The night of the show was a wild one... I have a dvd of the show. Mrs W is forever jealous that I saw him on that tour. Amazing show, memorable night.

Nice!! Meat over here is getting more expensive by the day too. I still have an 8 lb rib roast in the freezer. It was $6.99/lb when I bought it. Not anymore....enjoy!

Yeah the version JP put on the remasters bonus disc is very powerful, even more than the official version, IMO. But I’ve always loved the way ended the song/album with the pick going down the strings. Pure Zep magick.

That was the first NBA season I really remember. Weren’t the games shown on tape delay? I remember never seeing a finals game live. Dr J was my favorite player and the Sixers were my favorite team. Darryl Dawkins went to the high school I ended up graduating from when we moved from upstate NY to central Florida. Magic Johnson certainly put on a show in the last game of the series....

I remember hearing that show on the radio the night it was broadcast. Still have the cassette somewhere...I was out of my mind on mushrooms. Last time I ever ate them. -

I’d forgotten how good of a version that one was. I think ‘71 might be my favorite year for D&C. Raw and tight still. Plus the bow section was more aggressive that year, IMO.
