Very sad news. My next door neighbor’s fiancée was tragically killed yesterday. They had just had a little girl 3 weeks ago. She lost her mother last year, who lived there as well. She is scared to death of having anyone over with a newborn, so we feel helpless for her. Send her prayers of comfort, if you can.

Paul would be proud! Cooked up some thick pork chops and grabbed the buy one take one home dinners from Olive Garden. Gonna make three meals out of it for the three of us with salad, cheese ravioli and fettuccine Alfredo, etc. Stretching the meals out is where it’s at.

That was one hell of a team: Bench, Perez, Morgan, Concepcion, Rose, Griffey, Geronimo, Foster...etc - plus manager. Sparky was something else, in detroit too. Great guy.
