Thanks. Do you know if these edits exist on any non-bootleg material? They’re not like this on the complete BBC sessions release... they don’t have so much talking or clapping. Thanks

Afaik bootlegs are the only way to hear all the in between song banter, the Japanese broadcast boot has the most of which there are a couple of versions, one in very narrow thin sounding stereo, another in fuller sounding wider stereo. Those boots also have the WIAWSNB false start where Plant is in the wrong key.

Anyone may have written that on the label in the intervening years. I defer to Sam's assessment, however, the only way to know for certain is to hear the content. The content either contains previously unheard Robert Plant banter or it doesn't.

It won't, bootlegs of the April 71 BBC Paris Theatre performance contain all the banter the OP reports that is on this "so called" acetate. Nothing new, nothing unheard here. .

Has anyone tried a matrix combining the sources?

It works with aud and sb to enhance the overall sound

Maybe the aud sources overlapping could do the same?

There is one, it's known as the three source  "Slumpy Matrix"

Source 1 - Blueberry Hill [Genuine Masters]
    Source 2 - Blueberry Hill [5th source]
Source 3 - Blueberry Hill [Rubber Dubber] - patches only

  4. It was so much easier pre CD, early seventies I had two versions, a 2 LP TMOQ on red and amber vinyl in stereo and a 2 LP set on black vinyl which was mono (can't temember the label). Now there are six sources the lineage of them is often confused, source numbers sometimes wrong, tweaked for this, tweaked for that. Best thing to do is download them all then make your own desicion as to which is best.

  5. Just got this two disc special edition Blu-ray, it was the very first Horror film I saw age fifteen (I wasn't allowed to watch horror films up until then).  It scared me shitless. It's hard to believe this film was an X certificate, you had to be 18 to see it in the Cinema, it's now a PG.

19.10.2018: the release of the greatest Lead Zepplin album since Houses Of The Holy, according to 'Sondek' at SHiTeVille:

"I'm four tracks into this album, and already I prefer it to any Zeppelin albums after Houses of The Holy. It's really good so far."

He hasn't poated since then. Wonder whether he managed to make it through 'Anthem' with a straight face?

I can't recall the thread over there, but he's the guy who posts and reposts Queen's sales figures to prove his point. The thread may be something to do with LZ, not sure.

There's another one coming from the Golden Eggs, which is likely Eat A Peach's successor, and it's called as definitive stereophonic version.

That is "A Sweeter Blueberry" I downloaded a Hi Res DVD-A version years ago It's pretty good  I play it more than the other sources but that's because the whole show is on one disc. I wouldn't buy it though.

La La is great too. 10 Ribs outtake from Presence is also one of the most interesting and surprising!  Sounds nothing like Presence and I would have guessed it was from ITTOD.

Completely new and unheard outtakes and a few "hard-core" trolls want nothing more than to complain about single thing they release.

Trolls ? That's a bit cheeky, is no one entitled to an opinion.

  9. Well, I signed up. Tbh I haven't got a clue how fantasy footie works, I have never partaken before so I just did an auto pick, ended up with a not so hot team. Let's see how this flows. Don't really know if I have enough interest to spend the time.

    It's not sad at all....

What's sad is that fate did not allow professional live recordings and video from the '75 and '77 tours to be made and released.

IT's just a book with photos of Zeppelin that most long time fans have already mostly seen. The fact that it's in a book officially released by the band is not that big deal. The History of Zeppelin is mostly wrapped up in bootleg recordings and photos. That was their own doing. They've no one to blame but themselves...

We all see things differently (an age thing maybe), I'm not in the least bit bothered there is nothing from the 75 and 77 tours (I don't count in house video). For me by 1973 Zeppelin as a live act had already peaked, I've got dozens of 75/77 shows but I much prefer listening to earlier shows, so I don't see where there is any blame. As for the book, I'll pick it up eventually, I'm in no hurry right now.

do they have cowboys in England? I thought Englishmen rode sheep?

I've heard that it's the Welsh that ride sheep, but it's only a rumour. A Cowboy here is a tradesman who will leave a job half and badly done, nothing to do with things that go Moo, I believe over their you call them Flakes.

Maybe they are blocked in your country for I had no problem finding several authentic "Taurus" videos.

My mistake, all those videos are real, lesson to oneself, don't rely on crappy laptop speakers, think I'll get me coat......

    Spot on.

I've always felt Spirit's case was weak, but I confess I've had some ambivalence - I've sort of felt 75-25 in favor of Zeppelin. But after watching Beato's video, my ambivalence is gone. Others did somewhat similar videos when the case first went to trial, but Beato's is by far the most concise, the clearest, and has the most evidence packed into it. In fact, Zep should just call him as an expert witness and be done with it.

Beatbo doesn't even get to the disputed section of Taurus, he stops the track as it get's to the acoustic guitar part.

Another thing there is NOT ONE genuine vesion of Taurus on YouTube, they are all fake, they have all been edited to remove the acoustic guitar section that is disputed and some other unrelated guitar part edited in I can't find one that matches the version I have.. I am going to repeat myself, I first heard Taurus over forty years ago and I have always thought that  Taurus and STH shared some SIMILARITES, they are NOT the SAME .

Rik Emmett is the guitarist, songwriter, and lead singer of Triumph,  who has 18 gold and 9 platinum records, and is also a music professor at Humber College in Toronto, Ontario. But gee, but what does he know, right? And those goofy emoticons don't help make your weak point any stronger.

It seems that you don’t know what the word  “SIMILAR” means. Your guy in Triumph said they are not the “SAME” and yes he is right, but they are “SIMILAR “.
