I took my bike out today for my first official ride of the season! It was really hot today, so I waited until after 9pm to go out. It got dark, but it was okay--I had a headlight and I was careful.

It went from high 50s to 95 in about three days! My a/c has been running nonstop since 1pm and it's almost midnight! It's finally a decent temperature...thank God. I love the heat, I just prefer an acclimation phase before it gets too close to 100!

Well, I don't know about you, but I've seen pictures of Ninelives and I totally buy that it's her. Pictures of the face, yanno.

No, I don't. I don't have cable. When I worked at Albertson's, my sister worked in the bakery, and I ended up hanging out in the bakery a lot on my breaks and my lunches. I used to watch the cake decorators, so I think that helped a little bit. MaryHart--I would probably eat a lot of the cake too. I don't really like cake that much, but that's mainly because I don't like most of the frostings that bakeries use--the shortening stuff makes me gag just thinking about it. It always smells really good, but once I start eating it, I'm like, "ugh." (I used to experience that a lot when I worked at Albertson's.)

I like to bake, but I'm not doing the cake thing except for as a hobby or for friends. It takes too much work, LOL. I'm happy with the teaching thing--as least, if I get a full time job.

^I LOVE huge yards. I'm hoping someday, we will be able to afford to buy a house with a large, nice piece of land. I made curry. I've been out of the spice curry for over a month, and last weekend, Dave took me and helped me stock up on all of my spices. 2. I finished my friend's wedding cake--(the one you freeze), and it turned out beautifully! She got married last Saturday, and I made about 80 Texas-sized cupcakes for her wedding, but I wanted to be sure she had the frozen smaller cake too. I went to my mom's house to see my mom and my sister for mother's day. I stopped at Dairy Queen and bought my sister an ice cream cake (spending $26 of my $46 that I have until I get paid again on Friday), and she was really, really happy. She'd been hinting that she wanted an ice cream cake for a while, and since it was her first mother's day and she's a great mommy, I did it. Oh yes, and I forgot to say: Charles, I'm happy you're home!

(I needed a new copy...my old one's pages are yellow and brittle and is literally falling apart...) and Yeah...they're all for the summer school job I took. (It starts in less than a month now!!!)

Heh. No problem. I thought that your pictures matched mine when I saw you post them. Those pictures are old ones from at least a year ago. The one with the red sandals is at least two years old. I've had the slippers for about 10 years now. That's how little I actually wear slippers. LOL

Nice try. Debauchery is the Zeppelin way, but I don't think it would have been so if it were the day and age of the internet.

It keeps going through cycles: it looks semi-nice, then it starts pouring. Semi-nice, pouring... I wanted to do yard work today.

I know, it sucked that I only got a few pictures, but Amy has a great camera, so I'm sure there will be good pictures. Elizabeth, that's really cool. I can't imagine a better honor!
