I have a whole bunch still and just the other night I dug out all my Dire Straits ones but I can't find their live album. The last ones I got at Wal-Mart for a buck each. I'd like to put most of them to cd but don't have the do-hicky's to do that. What I really hate is when the player eats the tape.
If I was 30 years younger I'd ask her to marry me.
That was such a great version of 'People Get Ready'. The other version I've always liked was by Rod Stewart and Jeff Beck. Seeing Beck last night was cool. He is the master on guitar. I also loved the Stairway To Heaven version and the blonde guitarist was great.
I'm sure that Plant and the boys were pleased.
I saw one today for Glad bags.
2 guys were pulling a piano up on a rope when it broke and the piano got demolished when it hit the sidewalk. They then took the strong Glad bag and put all the parts in it and took the bag upstairs and said: 'Here's your piano!'
I like the Orbit gum one too.
'What the French, toast?'
Among many, old and new.......Henny Youngman (he was in GOODFELLAS)
'While playing golf today I hit two good balls. I stepped on a rake!'
'Why do Jewish men die before their wives? They want to!'
'My wife said she wanted to go someplace she'd never been. I told her 'How about the kitchen?'
