  1. I remember listening to Q107's Top 500 songs back in 1985 and STH was #1 then. It's probably been that way every year. Zeppelin is the #1 played band on Q107 it seems. You'll hear 'em at 2x iin an hour. I keep trying to sneak that station on at work. But the station we listen to plays them around 3 times a day, so it's all good.
  2. Found this today online... more Robert on TV! LED ZEPPELIN frontman and legendary rocker Robert Plant and bluegrass superstar Alison Krauss share the stage performing their own classics as well as songs from their new album, "Raising Sand", in the next all-new episode of "CMT Crossroads: Robert Plant And Alison Krauss", premiering Monday, February 11 at 8:00 p.m. ET. Plant and Krauss were recently nominated for a Grammy in the category of "Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals" for the song "Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)" from "Raising Sand". Together, Plant and Krauss combine his rock intensity with her angelic grace for a phenomenal episode of "CMT Crossroads". The two music icons perform songs from their new album, including "Please Read the Letter" and "Rich Woman". The pair performed Alison Krauss and UNION STATION's "The Boy Who Wouldn't Hoe Corn", as well as LED ZEPPELIN classics "Black Dog" and "When the Levee Breaks". The pair also pay homage to THE EVERLY BROTHERS with their version of "Gone Gone Gone (Done Moved On)". Special guest T Bone Burnett, acclaimed songwriter, performer and "Raising Sand" producer, joins in the onstage collaboration.
  3. Oh my... that looks like it's gonna be pretty cool! Official or not!
  4. Haha! I always love your replies with the emoticons. I'm dying to put it on my MySpace page, but they have embedding disabled. (Maybe they knew Plant Freaks like us would try to steal it) LOL
  5. I know... at least we have YouTube... thank god!
  6. Has anyone seen this video of Robert (and his tight pants) that someone made on YouTube? It's the best thing ever. "If you got a banana, you've got a banana". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FLMyTSWuH1U
  7. I love the way Robert looks at Jimmy. It's sexy. Now why does THAT sound weird???
  8. I couldn't have said it better myself! One of my fave parts of Earls Court is during "That's The Way" when Jimmy and Robert keep looking at each other like they're gonna burst out laughing. It's so cute.
  9. Yes. Hopefully they'll confirm the North American tour dates by the end of March, since the shows won't be until June/July. I'm trying to be as patient as possible, but I'm booking my work vacation days around this tour. I need to know NOW!. LOL
  10. I just hopes he keeps his hair the length he has now. He looks so good with it a little longer. Suits him so much better than he did in 2005-ish when it was noticeably shorter.

    Robert and Maureen?

I think the sister was the big love of his life. I remember reading somewhere they dated for most of the 80's and early 90's.
  12. Me too! I'll be checking YouTube constantly for this tomorrow.
  13. That makes sense. The Sun are sneaky bastards.....
  14. That's so funny. It would've been even funnier if you were looking at one of the magazines with him on the cover AS he walked by. I would've approached him, but I completely understand why you wouldn't of out of respect for his down time. I probably would've discreetly followed him to see what he was buying! Ha

    Oh CANADA!

I had no idea about that! I've seen Bif in concert a few times, and it was always a good show. She's a tough girl though... sending positive vibes her way!
  16. Good teeth. Nice change from the early years.
  17. LOL - Yeah I also think she said that he asks every girl to marry him or something like that... jokingly.
  18. That's what I thought it was gonna be about too. The Sun always seem to have the dumbest captions. And the DVD they're mentioning in the article sounds just like the one released in 2003??
  19. I have the Bizarre section of Britain's The Sun newspaper saved on my favorites so I can read all the trashy celeb news, but it was refreshing to find this article on Zep today: http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showb...ticle664077.ece

    Roberts Jeans

I wouldn't be surprised if he did. The 60's/70's were all about excess and experimentation, so it wouldn't shock me if he did. He was quite feminine in some ways... I know it was the style back then, but even his onstage movements were quite girly. But hey, I'm not gonna judge. I'd still do him. LOL
  21. I think Tori Amos explains best what we've all thought I'm sure. Not sure if this has been posted before, but it's a bunch of quotes where she talks about Robert and his sexiness. I remember reading somewhere that they dated briefly. Anyone know if that's true or not? http://www.hereinmyhead.com/musicians/plant.html
  22. I have a Zep/Robert Plant mixed CD that I listen to and from work each day. And surprisingly I'm not sick of it yet! "Ship Of Fools" gets played at least twice a day.
  23. 33, but I have to admit I got into Zeppelin pretty late. Shame on me. But oh how I wish I was 20-ish in the 70's!
