Just finished The Blacklist...WOW! The most gripping series I've ever watched, and Spader is amazing.

My daughter is home!! And my niece welcomed another beautiful baby boy yesterday; I can't wait to see him on Thanksgiving!

Thankfully no; it's a potluck! We are fixing a turkey and a ham; at least one veggie side dish, and a couple of desserts/appetizers (and wine). Everyone else is bringing the rest We're using disposable plates etc. too.

We're hosting 30+ people at our house for the first time ever; the relative that usually hosts is unable to this year. I have no idea where they will all sit but hopefully it will all go ok! I'm beginning to freak out a bit though about getting the house ready. Clearing everything out of the first floor that's not directly related to Thanksgiving...

Strider, she doesn't really fit into the traditional pop category and most kids here are into either country (that's probably #1; particularly Blake Shelton), rap/hip hop or Katy Perry. She's quite young (16 or 17?) but talented, and has a unique sound.

I just heard Lorde's music for the first time about 2 weeks ago. I'd never even heard of her before then, but I really like her music.
