I am ON VACATION!!!! Going on a wine tour somewhere in Virginia tomorrow. Taking my sis out for her birthday on Sunday. Then Tuesday, we leave for Florida and baseball!!

So last weekend, I spent time with my sisters (real and "other") at the Amargosa Hotel and Opera House outside of Vegas. Today I found out that it was used in Robert's "Big Log" video. So I re-watched the video today and sure enough, there it is! Wish I'd realized that last week!! One of the shots was taken walking down this patio (without the furniture there...) It's a really interesting place...

Season finale of Boardwalk Empire. What a great show!

Just got back from seeing Lyle Lovett and John Hiatt at the Beacon Theatre. An incredible show! Just the two of them and their guitars...they alternated songs. Only a few times did they sing together, but they chatted a lot between songs...both have that offbeat sense of humor. A really entertaining evening. I highly recommend it if they come through your town!! And, the Beacon has become my favorite theatre in the world!! Been walking by it for several years, but this is the first time I've been inside. I really wish I was seeing Robert Plant there next weekend...

Had a perfectly spectacular lunch at Lupa today. Goes on the list of places to eat every single time we come up here!
