My brother is coming to visit from Italy tomorrow. Haven't seen him in 3 years. Can't wait!!!

I'm a big fan of American craft brewing. Had a Lagunitas WTF last night... yummy!! http://www.brewedforthought.com/?p=2204 In case I haven't mentioned it before, Lagunitas is one of my favorite brewers.

According to the trusty Yiddish Dictionary Online, it means "luck, good fortune, happiness." Very nice!! My father's family spoke Yiddish around the house all the time when I was a kid. I wish I'd paid attention (I hate it wnen parents turn out to be right - they told me to learn foreign languages and keep up with my piano lessons... )

It's hebrew/yiddish for Good Luck - but not as in a wish for good luck, but in the fact that you're having good luck. Meaning congratulations!! So, yes, it's a good thing!!

Drinking a Southern Tier Big Red Imperial Ale. So far, I haven't had a Southern Tier beer I haven't loved.

Tried some of the Goose Island brews this weekend- Honekers Ale, 312 Wheat, and the Matilda. Good stuff!

I'm quite sure of that! Accompanied by some good, local brew...of which there seems to be plenty! Can't wait!!

I'm on vacation for an entire week! Off to Milwaukee tomorrow evening, then on to Chicago on Tuesday. There will be baseball (of course!) and lots of food!! I will look like the Goodyear Blimp when I get home. Yay!!

Going to see Lewis Black at the Warner Theatre in DC on 9/24. The last time we went to see him, my face hurt afterwards from laughing so hard! And, I just got tickets to see Craig Ferguson at Carnegie Hall in October! I'm soooo excited!!! Love Craig and I've never been to Carnegie Hall. I may have 2 extra tickets if anyone's interested.

It's my 7th wedding anniversary! And we're in St Petersburg for spring training... and going to Bern's Steakhouse tonight for dinner!! Doesn't get much better...
