Chien Noir
I DO NOT ADMIT! (I don't know what's argyole, even after learning and speaking and listening and writing english for 12 years *hides* )

Lilith
I DO NOT ADMIT! (I don't know what's argyole, even after learning and speaking and listening and writing english for 12 years *hides* ) Don't worry, Chien, your English is superb! I think LZ made a typo (apologies if you didn't and I'm jumping in here) ... what I think she meant was "Argyle". An Argyle sweater has a distinctive diamond pattern on it, much favoured by golfers . Jimmy was wearing one at the 1970 Albert Hall concert, in a rather lurid blue and purple colour, if memory serves me right!
lzfan715
You don't know what argyole is?! It is simply put one of the wrost fashion fads ever. But it looks good on Jimmy and little babies. For instance: A little boy, who is about 6 months old at my church, at to wear argyole to church for easter. No one could get over had adorable he was, all I could say was poor kid. If I ever have kids they will not wear argyole (unless it is like Jimmy's) or polos. The vest is argyole.
Chien Noir
riiiiiight, I saw DaC from there on youtube, I remember that..wasn't that a vest? I think it was sleeveless. Anyway, never been much into sweaters. And especially this pattrern looks very grandpa-ish

Chien Noir
Yesh flood control is evil. Anyway, I prefer to wear short sleeved shirts (not exactly the plain T-shirts)
noora
I love that sweater! Jimmy's sweater I mean. You should try it Chien Ok not really, it doesn't look good on anyone except Jimmy.

lzfan715
I do too. I've seen pictures of how you dress, and it reminds me of flower power. I can't do that because of where I live. They're all preps or hicks. Random: Has anyone seen the colour of Grace Slick's eyes? They're gorgous.

lzfan715
It does. I loved your clothes. And she does have a beautiful voice. Janis could sing her right of the stage though, don't get me wrong I love Grace's voice. And her personality.
Chien Noir
You can't compare Janis' and Grace's voices, each of them was somewhere else, had a different colour, feeling, expression etc.. Hmm, closest to flower power is my orange tee with a cactus.
noora
Yea I think Janis' voice is better too
lzfan715
They had different styles. I couldn't imagine Janis singing White Rabbit, but I can't imagine Grace singing Half Moon either.
