Favorite LZ album side

in the 60's and 70's bands carefully choose their music to

be played one side at a time. unfortunately that kinda

gets lost nowadays cause we rarely,if ever, even play

records.certain albums had stronger sides. most were

killer on both sides and that's why they're led zeppelin!

i love LZ2 side a.

whole lotta love, wiawsnb, lemmon song and thank you....

no, thank you zep!

Old enough to know to what you are refering.I think that the first side of the fourth album is just about perfect.I mean - Black Dog,Rock And Roll,Battle Of Evermore,Stairway To Heaven?

in the movie "fast times at ridgemont high" a dude advises his buddy to be sure and play side

one of led zeppelin four on his big date.........later, they show the buddy in the car on his date,

"kashmir" is playing.......wrong album but sentiment appreciated.

I would pick side 1 of the first album (GTBT, BIGLY, You Shook Me, D&C) with side 1 of Physical Graffiti (Custard Pie, The Rover, IMTOD) a close second.

i grew up listening mostly to 2,3,4, song rem. same and

ittod. i began a love affair with hoh and 1 about four years ago

and still put lz1 in most often when i'm wanting some led(which is and

always will be quite often!) anyway, i feel you :)

Either side 3 of PG (In The Light, Bron-Y-Aur, Down By The Seaside, Ten Years Gone) or side 2 of ITTOD (Carouselambra, All My Love, I'm Gonna Crawl).

When I started this thread, side 1 of LZ2 was a no brainer for me,

but when I look at the song list for side 2,ITTOD.......hold the phone!

Carouselambra, 3 songs in one! (I love the slow grungy mid section)

All My Love, A man's love for a child. Nuff said.

I'm Gonna Crawl......I posted before that on a good stereo turntable

the bass on this song "absolutely cracks the walls"! This song may

crank better than any Zep tune ever recorded!

uh-oh...may have started a new thread.....

I blew a speaker playing In The Evening! I would turn the volume

ALL THE WAY up and then crank it down quick before the first

crash. Forgot to crank it down on time.....oops!
