Ady
How was the Hawkwind gig ?? I saw em about 1985ish time, Motorhead end of the 1980's.The movie will be worth a watch. It was great ! Not as great as when I saw them in Dec 2008, but still great. It must be difficult for them to organise the setlist with so much material to choose from, but they played a few off the new album + tracks like You Shouldn't Do That, Brainstorm, Spirit of the Age, You'd Better Believe It, Angels of Death etc... A big surprise was a track called Star Cannibal off the 1982 album Church of Hawkwind. I don't think there are any videos from the gig I went to, but this is from the night before in Glasgow;

Jahfin
Valient Thorr is also touring with them remember you mentioned them before I haven't listened to them heard they put on a show. Also very cool, they're a NC band but not really my cup of tea musically. I'm sure they'll fit in fine with Clutch and Motörhead. leddy
Got to say there isn't a more Rock'n'Roll sight than seeing Lemmy head tilted upwards towards the mic, bass cranked to 11 and wooosh.....a 747 comes at you, well it did at the Hammy Odeon , oh no it was a bomber Edited January 17, 2011 by leddy
