Led Zep Girl Posted February 7, 2011 Posted February 7, 2011 Wait a minute, was she a "groupie"? I hate to say that but she looks familiar from a tv special I saw awhile back. Please correct me if I am wrong. Quote

Please correct me if I am wrong. You are right. I just watched not to long ago the Pamela Des Barres Documentary where Pam visited her and she showed off the ring Elvis gave her. Quote
spidersandsnakes Posted February 8, 2011 Author Posted February 8, 2011 Any "older" fan here would know that Tura dated Elvis in her day, but she WAS NOT his groupie that's for sure:)....actually, Tura turned down Elvis's marriage proposal:):). She might have been a rock star's groupie somewhere along the line though:) Quote
Tea for Tanja Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 She is a real legend being so well known only because of 1 great movie.A shame that she was not supported by media. What a geat woman. Quote

Making all these masterpieces ,ignoring the commercial aspects and still being so wellknown. Quote

Everybody needs the light Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 I know a hughe fan of her who even organized a tour with her a few years ago. He was impressed by her dark power and said you can not compare her with any other woman. It was the time when JPJ was around with "Diamond".I told him about this strong woman and (after he saw a clip of them )he had to agree that she had alot of the real power of Tura. Quote
DavidZoso Posted February 19, 2011 Posted February 19, 2011 (edited) I have several books on Elvis, but somewhere I read that Tura taught Elvis some of his dance moves and she also taught him how to perform cunnilingus Oh Yeah Edited February 19, 2011 by DavidZoso Quote
