Bingo
From a kids concert. If you're not familiar, this is DJ Lance Rock, from the kids show Yo Gabba Gabba. It's very popular in the States. I took this photo a month or so ago.

greenman
I just read a interesting story on the use of an I Phone and Instagram for the latest cover of NYT : " Traditional Photographers Should Be Horrified By The Cover Of Today's New York Times"http://m.yahoo.com/w/legobpengine/finance/news/cover-todays-york-times-represents-164232643.html?.intl=us&.lang=en-us Not really, photographers with low resolution needs(Newspapers or the internet) have been using cheap cameras for years. What it shows is that the key to an interesting protait is an interesting subject and a photographer who can manipulate them and the lighting. Personally I think the "instragram" look to these pics is the weakness part of them and will probabley date them in a year or two as the fad passes. LedZeppfan77
No other thread to put this but a scene for the upcoming film Spiderman II will be filmed in downtown Rochester, here, on April 30th. A pretty action filled scene I hear.

greenman
Instant film does seem to me making a bit of a comeback recently, Fujifilm still make instant film for older cameras and there own newer instax cameras that seem very hassle free. I was actually looking at a book on venice yesterday with nightshots taken with 8x10 instant film by this guy.... http://www.christopher-thomas.de/ Edited April 29, 2013 by greenman
