SunChild
Last weekend I went on a long enough road trip that I could listen to the whole concert, start to finish. Kashmir was amazing, also For Your Life and No Quarter, but where I go straight into abandonment and rock out is with R & R. Every time I've heard it, from the night of the concert to driving along last weekend, it's given me chills. They'd made it to the mountain top! There's never been a better titled song. Can I send the speeding ticket I got to Zep's management? 75 in a 55, and it's all their fault! (LOL, boy did the music get turned off fast, before I'd even come to a stop...) Suz
That's so cool (the recording, not the speeding ticket)! I can't wait for the DVD.

loo lo
Once again, I'm very proud of Led Zeppelin, they have showed the world what is to be creative and almost perfect. Thanks ! Thanks a lot Led for that reunion. By the way ... FOR YOUR LIFE was absolutely hilarious ! Wish you the best and hope there will be more. Please come to BRAZIL ! Jimmy ... I just can't imagine the world without your power ! Plant... The earth has given birth to the best and most inspired vocalist of all time ! Jones... Absolutely wonderful, majestic show of hands ! Bonham .. You did it !
laststand
To all those lucky enough to attend, and for those that have had to settle for...er...other methods...what TUNE do you think the men "pulled off" the best? And for fairness sake, which tune was least successful? From where I stood, and from where the tears were flowing from my eyes, Kashmir was the best. Worst? Much as it surprised me I thought STH was the worst. It seemed out of sync with the other songs and tired. Maybe Robert was right about it? But what a night and I haven't recovered yet! Glad somebody else owned up to it too. I had at least 2 good times that tears rolled down my cheeks.....right to start with.....and somewhere around Kashmir myself......we weren't alone.. god it was awsome........see picture below of where I was.

The Bomber
I wasn't there, but from the youtube vids,i loved STH,R & R,GTBT,D & C,NQ,WLL,IMTOD And loads more, but hands down the besy was Kashmir, which surprised me because STH is my all-time fav,we don't have Classic Rock stations in Ireland so Stairway's not cliché here, but they recovered it from the darkest depths of the cliché,it was my 2nd fav of the night,it was all great though. I wish i was there!

My opinion is super biased because I would have loved whatever they did.....but the start with GTBT....then into Rambe On....was some kind of perfect.....the live 2007 sound was just "blistering".....I was right of center about 30 ft. out from the stage....pretty much in front of Jimmy's amps.....GOOD LORD!!!!!.......they sure had Jason's drums turned up too.......I've read some negative about that....but from where I was standing........all I can say is DAMN IT WAS GOOD!!!!!! I'm happy with a recording, can always turn it up really loud when i get a chance.

Can't argue with that......but there's ALLOT more to having a good spot at a live show.....and especially that one in particular.
