kaiser Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 When Robert was fronting Jesus Jones or was it the KLF. Either way, awful. Quote
DAS Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 I like the song. Not one of my favorites but I don't turn it off when it comes around on the CD. Quote
Mudslider Posted March 29, 2012 Posted March 29, 2012 It is awful but the positive is that it ends. Quote
mhotter74 Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Manic Nirvana was definitely my biggest disappointment as far as Plant's solo albums. Made me shy away from Fate of Nations - Mighty Rearranger and Raising Sand made me believe in him again : ) Quote
Sagittarius Rising Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 I liked it, as well as the rest of Manic Nirvana. It was his hardest rocking album he ever did and over all a damn fine effort. Maybe a bit dated but it brings back great memories. I saw Robert in 90' in Chicago, Sept 30th, great show as always. Me and my friends all went together and spent the day, smoking up and having fun. By the time of the show we were all feeling fine but quite cognizant, I never was into the whole "blotto" scene, always preferred a nice, tasty mellow buzz to accentuate the moment. Great album, great show. Quote
DAS Posted March 30, 2012 Posted March 30, 2012 Robert Plant had a lot of great albums but I wonder why he has no solo live album? Quote
Rock Historian Posted April 11, 2012 Posted April 11, 2012 I think this is part of the "experimental" era that Robert "had a go" at. I'm sure he'd even brush this one off, as a bit "goofy". Quote
