Stairway is NOT stolen
Hey all. I'm currently listening to the BBC Sessions, and I have a question. On the Album cover, what Guitar is Jimmy holding? It doesn't look like a Telecaster or a Les Paul, his usual Guitars. Does anyone know what Guitar it is? Thanks. Stairway is NOT stolen
is it not his Danelectro? I'm not quite sure, I didn't think he used it back then.
Sue Dounim
he was already using the Danelectro even in the Yardbird days for White Summer
lcondo123
That's his Danelectro man. Jimmy used this for White Summer back in 1969-70. You can see it the RAH footage
BlyZeppelinaren
I agree, definitely has the shape of his Danelectro 3021
SummerOfMySmiles
It's the Danelectro, but because of the drawing / artistic treatment, it's not so obviously black and white
Strider
There is no mistaking the shape of Jimmy's Danelectro. The artwork could be rendered in pink and it would still be recognizable.
