Led Zeppelin (the only artist where I have owned the entire catalogue on vinyl, cassette, and CD - from 'LZ I' to 'Coda' - also true for officially released VHS tapes, DVDs, and BluRays)

Not to get too analytical, but by everything I just assume buying the main studio releases and most of the live shit, and not bothering with every super deluxe album remix afterwards... :D

 

In the case of everything, there's LZ and Rush and not a whole lot I can think of--even with AC/DC there's a line; stop with Black Ice and forget that Axl Rose shit. Sometimes, you have to break certain bands into categories; no STP without Scott, no Floyd before DSOTM and maybe a few after The Final Cut...
