Yes, I've seen him on the Eagle Rock Entertainment Classic Album series DVDs, like Queen's, A Night at the Opera, Pink Floyd's, Dark Side of the Moon and a few british series rock dvds (where they critique artists/albums).

He seems to know what he's saying on the videos.

I've never read any of his books, though.

I own The Led Zeppelin Concert File, too and it's a great source.

I agree i have it .Plus i gave a copy to a young friend of mine who recently discovered Zep.

Dave lewis has several good books out among them The Concert Files,and a celebration.

I'm pondering on whether to purchase this. Is it accurate?

I have it - certainly not my favourite LZ book but certainly worth adding to the collection. I respect Chris Welch - he's been a rock journalist since the 1960's and has been there and done that. He's been on the road with Zeppelin so at least can write with some kind of authority without relying (too much) on rumour, speculation or muck spraying.
