reswati
Jeff Buckley (amazing range and never boring in his improvisations) Freddie Mercury (Check out his solo spot from the 77 shows, and you know why) Neil Finn (For his Beatles-like vibe) Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan (A genius on every level of vocal bending) Neil Morse (Can do anything from soft to metalesque singing) Robert Plant (Guess why, haha) Tom Waits (The most fucked up voice in the universe, gotta love it) David Bowie (Versatile artist, love his accent) Steven Tyler (Cause he can sound like a tortured cat in heat) Ozzy Osbourne (Because of the unique sound of his pipes, like something got stuck in his arse) Wendy and Lisa (Make me wanna fuck them for their harmonies) Ann Wilson (The female Robert Plant) Ronnie James Dio (What a powerhouse that man was) All the singers in Huun Huur Tu (Otherworldly, strange and beautiful) Lisa Gerrard (An ethereal muse) Kate Bush (Another ethereal, yet slightly witchier, muse) Jon Anderson (One of the few people who sounds like an Elf) Edith Piaf (A truly tortured soul) Simon and Garfunkel (Combined they are heavenly perfect) Janis Joplin (Energetic, tortured, raspy and bluesy...........for sur she had a lotta soul) Skin (Beats many males in power) Devin Townsend (For his many styles and complete weirdness) Theo Mindell (For sounding a lot like a sadistic version of Ozzy, only less out of tune)

Stairway is NOT stolen
My favorite Vocalists are, in no particular order: Robert Plant. This is an obvious one, as we are on a Zeppelin forum. His voice can do many things at once, and he is the only one who can do Stairway to Heaven justice IMO. David Gilmour. His voice, along with his Guitaring, is so mesmorising and Special that you really listen to what he sings. Roger Waters. His voice, although not the best singer ever, packs what many singers don't have, which is pure emotion. Listen to 'Don't leave me now' by Pink Floyd to understand what I mean. Jimi hendrix. His Guitaring is better, but he is still a really good singer as well. Jim Morrison. His voice is very soothing and represents the drug influenced music that The Doors manages to pull of incredibly effortless. Joe Elliot. His work in Def Leppard is brilliant. i like to think of Def Leppard as the 80s version of Led Zeppelin.
