My family came & ate Thanksgiving dinner with us. I didn't think they would be able to make it.

Happy Thanksgiving! I've already had my nap & I am eating again.

Oh, & I received my Celebration Day cd/dvd. Very, excited.

What made me happy today was handing out Thanksgiving dinners. Just to see a single person or a family get a meal, really puts a smile on my face. Of course, you have to order them & pay for them but, it's still a good feeling. And some were buying them for the needy. Some people still know the meaning of giving.

I am staying home for Thanksgiving & Christmas. Every year, my dad & I always watch the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. It's like, tradition. Of course, I have to help cook so I am the pumpkin pie maker & whatever else needs to be done. Dad gets to watch tv since he's not really allowed in the kitchen. We're not really football or sport's fans, so none of that will be happening. Don't they play football on Thanksgiving? Anyways.... Christmas will probably be the same. Our holiday gatherings used to be a huge deal & there were always tons of people around but, all of my cousin's have their own families & such. i am the only grandchild on my mother's side who doesn't have kids. I should get a million dollar check made out to me right? Holiday's just aren't the same as they used to be for me. It's sad because I have plenty of great memories with my family members who have passed away. I really don't like to ponder about it too much because it makes me sad & sort of angry that they can't be here. But, that's just how life goes. I do hope everybody has a great Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas & a Happy New year's.

Aww, well, thank you Strider! I was blessed with a very pretty mother & if you saw her, you would probably say we look a lot alike. I am glad you got rested up. I love getting sleep but, 15 hours is a lot!!!

I really liked the BOSE headphones. I tried them on last weekend at Best Buy & immediately fell in love. They are pricey but, one pair would last a long time. It's on my Christmas wish list.
