  1. i just have to get done with high school is all and get a better job then working at the mall. history is so stupid anyway because it just depends on who is in charge and the history always changes. i dont think people with college make it any better jobs anyway. i see more people with college doing jobs you prolly dont need college for anyway.

Have you never heard the saying 'History Repeats it's self'.... One of the most important Subjects to study...imho

  2. i have to work on a freaking term paper about the founding fathers. my history teacher is a total freak about all this old stuff. nobody really cares abuot anymore. my girlfriends sister is going to write the report because she likes history and im going to pay her 50 dollars.

Your Mum still working 2 jobs to stay off Welfare? Maybe you should write you own report and treat your mum with the $50...

Helping BD hang wall paper.... :(

  3. Congrats to you and your family!

    :)

Thanks 'Walter' it is a relief to know that he can stay in a job that he loves...

I know a mother never likes her son to be far away, but can I just say that the years I was stationed in Germany were some of the best years of my life! I think he'll be fine and have a good time in Deutschland.

Sean he can't wait to get to Deutschland some of his best friends are stationed over there, i'm just not a big fan of flying...

How long did you serve in the Forces? if you don't mind me asking..

  4. No not really. My friend is a farmer and butcher and he turned me on to it. Sliced thinly you only need to fry it for a few mins and serve with onion gravy and mash. I don't think it's a strong as pigs liver and to be honest it has been a while since I had lambs. He famously joked that he preferred it to filet steak!!

Thanks cp I will look out for it and give it a try...

  5. At last I've heard some good news, I hope he continues his life in the army, my Brother in Law was in the army from the age of 16 until they retired him, he was in the REME, he went straight from the Army to a job at Rolls-Royce in Derby UK. So there is also life after the Army as well.

    Thanks joe,

my son also joined at the tender age of 16, and is in the REME at the moment, in order to stay in the Army he now has to retrain for a new job as a 'Tech Support Specalist'

(not sure what it entails, but sounds good LOL'.
