A big hug for Virginia and Julie. I am stressed because I am going away for 3 weeks on a cruise. Two of my sisters planned the trip and one had to back out so I am taking her place. I have had only a few days to get ready. A trip of a lifetime but I have to get life sorted out before I leave, which includes making sure my husband can cope with double duty as father and mother along with work while I am gone. Costco really loves me this week since I am stock piling food so that hubby doesn't have to do too much grocery shopping. The guilt is starting to set in...why am I going?

Slave to Zep: I hope you feel much better very soon. It rained here all day today which is what we need but a lightening strike blew out a transformer in our neighborhood so the power was out for a few hours. The rain also made me feel a bit melancholy and cold since the weather cooled. All of that made me crave junk food so I ate what I try to avoid which are burgers and fries. On top of all of that, I actually watched football today and had to stomach my hometown team lose to a mediocre team. I don't even like football but it was a close game so it was fun watching until the Texans made such stupid mistakes. They should have won.

Yay!!! I didn't know about H&M coming to Houston. All I need is In N Out to build a few stores here and I won't need L.A. anymore. Plus, I don't know a single soul in that town. I am planning a trip to Dallas to return the vest and make a stop at In N Out. Magic, I have been to the H&M in Chicago and now two in L.A. I agree that the sizes are running small for some reason, as if they used children as models. That just hits a woman's self esteem.

I bought a vest at H&M over the weekend in L.A. without trying it on and when I settled in at home, I discovered it doesn't fit. Texas doesn't have any H&M stores. My fault, but when I called the store to see if I can somehow exchange it via mail, I was told that all they can do is hold the size I need for 24 hours. How the hell do they expect me to manage that?

Yay Kiwi!! Good on ya girl! I too had a great weekend! Had a blast and indulged myself with In N Out and H&M. Luckily I didn't get the two mixed up. I made it home in one piece, with more stuff than when I set off on my short journey but that is to be expected. A girl has to shop. Best of all, my son had a great time!! Even though I almost killed myself when we went hiking near the Hollywood sign.

Today's the day I am going to L.A. biotches!!! Gonna have fun with family and friends for 3 1/2 days. (Is that better Sean...)
