  1. The damn cat found the hamster cage again and knocked it to the floor. Now it resides on the top of the fridge but Steve the hamster's sanity might not ever fully recover.
  2. Taking my chances on a big jet plane...Going to California... tomorrow. The children of the sun have now been fairly warned so if the mountains and the canyons start to tremble and shake, you know why. And I will stand on a hill in my mountain of dreams, wondering how tomorrow could ever follow today.
  3. "Take that Countess Von Zeppelin, you old hag!"
  4. Hearing the sound of thunder. We need rain and a lot of it so bring it on!
  5. You would have enjoyed it more if you had "XX" instead of "XY" at birth.
  6. I love that song. I love listening to Muse while on the treadmill, esp Stockholm Syndrome. Why am I happy today? I have updated my husband's car registration that was 4 months overdue and his Mini is now at the dealership getting an oil change and an inspection that were also overdue.
  7. Sorry Sean. I reread what you wrote and I had misread it the first time around. I thought you were saying that I was wrong about Jimmy's guitar playing instead of telling how you felt about it. I was rushing to judgement. Shame on me.
  8. I am very happy that I bought it. It's a great album, I just want to hear Jimmy thrash it a bit here and there. And I agree, the material is much better than Jimmy's solo stuff. He just works really well with Robert.
  9. I agree that this album should be remastered. I just bought it yesterday, after debating whether or not to spend the money on it after such tepid reviews from board members, and I do like it but Jimmy is way too far in the back for my liking. He is my all time favorite guitar player and his sound should never be be so subdued in the mix.
  10. Thank you! We found him or should I say, our young cat, Calvin, found him. Poor Steve the hamster was hiding in a pile of toys in my son's room but didn't realize he would be the toy. Calvin probably thought he hit the jackpot with such a fast and fun new toy. Luckily, Steve was unharmed and in his cage that is currently on top of bookcase that Calvin can't get to...yet. I am sorry about your eczema Leah. Do you take prescription meds for it?
  11. Res, it will be okay. Luckily those things tend to grow back. Strider, As for me, our two young cats, who are 6 months old, discovered this morning that they can get to the top of the chest of drawers in my son's room and I discovered that they knocked over the hamster cage onto the floor. I still have not found that little guy and I have looked everywhere. Hopefully he is hiding in a corner, waiting for food and a therapist.
  12. I forgot to post this on the 18th. Zeppelin's tribute to Jimi Hendrix, the day after his death.
  13. ^^^^^^Now that is a mag I would love to have. Please let me know if the article is worth the cost of tracking the mag down and buying one here in the U.S.
  14. I know I am a few days late but CONGRATULATIONS!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
  15. Is that what you are looking for when looking at photos of Jimmy?
  16. Hi! Who is that cute boy in the photo? I love it!!

  17. Thank ewe for the compliment,Sean.

  18. Ya know Strider, I am starting to think that you like Wilco...
  19. I am about to read "The Eye in the Triangle- An Interpretation of Aleister Crowley" by Israel Regardie that I picked up in an occult shop in the French Quarter.
  20. Not being able to eat breakfast due to a doctor's appt that requires that I fast so that blood work be done. The appt is at 10:30 so my first meal will be lunch which is not too bad but I can't drink coffee and I have 4 cups every morning. I hope I don't have road rage en route to the doctor's office.
  21. Living in Australia....beach!! Sleeping in, reading, shopping and whatever your little heart desires.
  22. It was the huge business mistakes that Borders is going out of sale. They were a day late and a dollar short getting their version of Kindle on the market and then they partnered with Amazon to sell books but why buy from Borders online when you can just buy from Amazon. I much prefer Barnes and Noble and Half Price Books. My husband has the Nook, from Barnes and Noble, and loves it. B&N makes money from it since what you purchase, you purchase from B&N and not iTunes. We have a ton of W's books and Palin's books that are going untouched...even at 60% off. The cds and dvds are pretty much picked over at this point. I did find "American Psycho" and "Get Him to the Greek".
  23. That has to be one of my favorite photos of the band. I am really enjoying Borders going out of sale. Right now, the sale is at 60-80 %. Over the weekend, I bought "The Lost Beatles Photographs" by Larry Marion. Photos from their tours, including a few from Houston in 65. I never realized how little they toured. In the U.S., in 64, they toured from August 19- September 20. In 65, they toured from August 15-31. In 66, they toured from August 12-30. Not much considering how extensive Zeppelin toured.
