Technically that would still be considered stealing but by the same token I've made plenty of mixtapes for friends over the years.

Never heard this original version of what later became "Let It Rain" until I heard it on XM's Deep Tracks channel several years ago. It originated from a song Clapton wrote with Bonnie Bramlett from the original sessions for Clapton's first solo album. It can be found on the deluxe edition of Eric Clapton (which includes more cuts from those sessions).

Too Far To Care turned 15 back on June 17th. In celebration of the 15th anniversary of the album Old 97's are embarking on a tour starting in August in Dallas where they'll perform the album in it's entirety. Also on the way this Fall is a special anniversary edition of the album on vinyl, CD and digital. More info on that as well as the tour here.
