  1. Thanks for letting us know. The cool thing is that a ticket to the show is cheap as fuck (8 euro), so I will try to influence our motivated bass player to go there, possibly even with some more people. If we succeed getting there we will wave at the camera on behalf of everyone here. Shoobiedoowah!
  2. Merci beaucoup. (There are more colours yet to follow in the omniverse, lol)
  3. Thanks for the add, since it's great to read your posts.

    Greetings from the Netherlands.

  4. Heartfelt condolences from the other side of the ocean. Peace be with you and your family during this period of grief, LS. Charles will be missed here by many, but never will he be forgotten.
  5. "Would you trust a guy named Bong-Man to fix your toilet ?" Of course, he can even smoke a bong on my toilet if it pleases him. @Bustle....you look absolutely fantastic, and posing with a vinyl record makes even more sense. Anyway, here's another one by ëLizardbeast, for whomever it pleases, since I finally found a somewhat decent recording. As you may see, we have a very happy bass player, gnagna.
  6. We had a chance to write Dio a get well note on the deeppurplehub. After some weeks these notes were bundled into a book and given to him which he very much appeciated. As far as I can remember I wrote to him that the first thing I ever heard his voice on was "Love is all" and that it took me years to figure out that he wasn't a frog after all. So here we go, will everybody sing along...haha
  7. It's a word pun on diaboliques. So to say it's the diabolical trio. The record is actually quite good, many different moodswings with an ethnic vibe. Very worthwile to check out.
  8. Well, this one's for you then, since you could be able to know the answer to Roberts question. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OK1b13YPYtc
  9. To be honest I have no clue who you are or whatsoever, but saw that you looked on my profile. Just wanted to tell you that you look great on your profile picture!

    Greetings from Holland.

  10. Well, this might explain a lot: As the tall, thin man in his mid-40s lay unconscious on the floor of his office, his eyes shut tight and his shirt-front soaked with blood, the silence of the night all around him was broken only by the shrieks of the bats which haunted the rafters of his vast Victorian mansion. The scene was like something out of a novel by that master of the macabre Stephen King, ironic given that the comatose figure was none other than King himself - dead to the world after drinking countless cans of beer and snorting so much cocaine that his ravaged nose had become a gushing crimson fountain. As is revealed in a fascinating new biography, he spent most of the Eighties on an extended drug and alcohol binge which so fogged his mind that even today he cannot remember working on many of the books he wrote during that period Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-1178151/Stephen-Kings-Real-Horror-Story-How-novelists-addiction-drink-drugs-nearly-killed-him.html#ixzz12PlEzfbx
  11. Here's a classic one from german tv. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6mivnxTL5aA&feature=PlayList&p=B4FB058D6AA45DCF&index=0&playnext=1 And one from belgium http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dYlckOkcLsY&feature=related
  12. The sound quality of the video leaves to be desired, since it was filmed with a cheap camera by a friend of our special guest who did backing vocals.

hope ya can dig the vibe anyway.

Greets and lots of love to you.

    Michael Reswati

  13. Well, that was a pleasant surprize to see you back again here.

  14. The artist is the Swiss surrealist H. R. Giger He is the guy who also designed Alien http://www.hrgiger.com/
  15. Of course it will be the best Zep talk since 1975.
  16. Cool, this board needs to get a glimpse of every inch of your Zeppelin.
  17. You forgot to list the song that I love most: Colours of a shade.
  18. Just as the video says, a snippet of a song we are working on, pieced together with some video footage of my old home. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P8tclCi9vWM Shitty sound quality of a fun gig on a very rainy day. Since I hadn't slept for 48 hours before the concert, the only thing that kept me goin' were caffeine pills. Somehow in the aftermath of the experience I even managed to break my nose. ëLizardbeast are: Lambert-guitar (the dark haired one) Mick-guitar (the blonde one) Geert-drums Ben-bass Reswati-vocals and special guest, Cynthia-vocals
  19. @Bustle always a pleasure to see you here......cool picture with the vinyl album, you make complete sense! And just to delight the forum with some signs of life, a picture from the first ever ëLizardbeast gig. And just a random shot of me, trying to look civilized or something like that.
  20. I just had the chance to see them perform at Pukkelpop in Belgium a few days ago, and it was a really great show. Dickinson is an awesome singer, and despite his age of 52 still extremely athletic and strong voiced.

With regards from Holland, hope you are doin'well!

  22. I found this info on the aforementioned guitar, hope it may be helpful. Believed to be a 1959 or 1960 model Telecaster. The guitar was a gift from Jeff Beck in 1966 and it's believed to have originally belonged to John Owen (a bandmate of Jeff Beck) who bought it new in 1961. It was originally painted white, Page added 8 reflective circles around spring 1967. Then the guitar was stripped down and repainted with the Dragon theme by Page himself. Well known for being the guitar responsible for the first album and likely the same Tele used on the Stairway to Heaven solo, it's studio use possibly extended further than that. Used live with Zeppelin from 1968 to May '69. Pickups are assumed to be stock. The middle position is believed to have been out of phase which can be heard on the You Shook Me solo. The guitar still exists, to an extent. The body was repainted by a friend of Page's. So the myth that the Dragon Tele body became the Brown B-Bender body is indeed a myth. Jimmy Page Guitar World Interview in 1998: "I still have it (referring to the Dragon Tele), but it’s a tragic story. I went on tour with the ’59 Les Paul that I bought from Joe Walsh, and when I got back, a friend of mine had kindly painted over my paint job. He said, "I’ve got a present for you.” He thought he had done me a real favor. As you can guess, I wasn't real happy about that. His paint job totally screwed up the sound and the wiring, so only the neck pickup worked. I salvaged the neck and put it on my brown Tele string bender that I used in the Firm. As for the body… it will never be seen again! (laughs)"
  23. It ain't a Zeppelin song, I heard about every possible outtake there is, and this song ain't one of them. Sounds indeed a bit like an Aerozep crossover/ripoff to me, just like Bong Man stated already.
  24. Hi spinalflow, just post the pictures of the inserts and the setlists of the white records here, also if they are single or double albums. If possible post the matrix numbers in the running off groove as well. There are plenty of people who can help you identify your records.
  25. Thanks Deborah,

    hope you are doing fine,

lots of good vibes from Holland to you.
